Interesting move. What European competition are they in? Probably knock us out the conference league lol
Manchester United fear they could miss out on prime transfer target Michael Olise this summer, with #Chelsea growing increasingly confident, which largely stems from Joe Shields' long standing connections to Olise.

Uefa have different financial regulations than the Premier League. So where as we currently stand we are probably safe with the Prem in terms of any punishments for "over spending", where as going into the Conference we probably fall well short of being 'safe' in terms of how much we have spent recently.
So although conference would help financially with additional games etc and revenue, they could also hit us with a transfer ban etc if we take part. There's a high chance of it anyway.
AC Milan had to strike a deal with Uefa, that they would serve a one year ban from all European competitions, this was also due to overspending. Think Uefa stipulates you want make a consecutive loss over 3 years.
Ben Jacobs -
Alfie Gilchrist could go on loan to the Championship next season.
All still early stages. Preston, Blackburn and Leeds have all shown interest.
No talks with Milwall or Swansea to date.

Graeme Bailey - Chelsea have told Napoli they are unwilling to meet their valuation of Victor Osimhen. The Italian club are thought to want around €130 million.

That’s a sensible decision - very unlike us. It is entirely Osimhen’s own fault if he doesn’t get the transfer he wanted. He signed a new contract with Napoli at the end of last season - so it’s up to Napoli now
I wouldn't want us to pay anywhere near €130 mill for Osihmen. He's not worth that. He had a brilliant season in 22/23 but that was just as much to do with Napoli being brilliant that season. This season he wasn't as good.
Most I'd want us to pay would be £60/70 mill. Even then I'd be hesitant, given his injuries.
Think Jacko is going to have a breakout season
Yeah Jackson is only going to keep getting better over the next two or three years. Obviously needs to work on several elements of his game but he's still just a kid.
We're going to need another striker though as just one striker in the squad isn't going to cut it surely. Especially as Nkunku isn't really a striker and can't be relied on to stay fit.
Conte to Napoli 👀

The fact Conte is the complete antithesis of what's in-fashion with a manager right now, landing that job is a huge testament to his talent.
Watch coaches like Allegri & Tuchel, also free & fantastic tacticians, stumble into mid-level jobs half way through this season (both probably in the PL) and those appointments still going down badly
not shore Rube fans wud agree about Allegri n his genius of tactic (tho he does have a app)
