I think we should get rid of Sterling anyway, but Olise plays on the right and Sterling plays predominantly on the left. To me getting Olise will affect Madueke far more.

I just can't get my head around this transfer, I know he's a good player but is he a huge upgrade on Madueke? The other thing is next season we will also have Estevão Willian and Kendry Paez joining us. Those two look like they are going to be world beaters.

Maybe his attitude is a huge upgrade

In my opinion Olise is a definite upgrade on Madueke. He's a special player whereas Madueke is just a good player. Also I don't think that Madueke has anywhere near the range of skills that Olise has. Olise can play central as well though.

Olise would be a phenomenal signing if (and it's a big if) he can stay fit. If he can stay fit then there's no question in my mind that he's going to be one of the big stars of the PL over the next five years or more. Maybe he already is for those that have been watching enough of Palace this season.

I never know with these things. Had madueke been at palace and olise with us, maybe we'd be saying the opposite?

It does seem to me however the last place we need to strenghten.

Across those 3 positions behind the striker we have sterling, palmer, gallagher, the two brazilians coming in,mudryk, madueke, jackson if we sign a striker, and probably one or two im forgetting.

I'd get rid of Sterling in a heartbeat Nick. We can get his £300,000 per week wages off the books as well.

As for Madueke he's good at running at players but I find his all round game lacking and one dimensional, hence why he seems better coming on as a sub. That's definitely something I don't question with Olise who has a range of passing, is creative but can also take on players. Basically can do just about everything in those attacking positions as I see it.
