I don’t mind keeping VAR but they need to make some changes.

Like a maximum of 60 seconds for VAR to make a decision

Replays shown at normal speed.

On field refs don’t have to change their decision every time they get called to the screen.

Both have surprised me..I hope Southgate doesn’t regret it. Maguire performs well for England and Grealish granted hasn’t had the best season but I think would really suit international football.

Players dropped from preliminary: Grealish, Maguire, Maddison, Branthwaite, Trafford, Jones, Quansah

For me I still think dropping Maguire may be an oversight. England have had a very settled back 4 since 2018 now, that have performed well together. He should be there over Dunk. And if Maguire doesn’t go should be Branthwaite over Dunk.

Not a fan of Wharton and Mainoo, both too inexperienced. RLC should have been there over one of them.

Also mad Palace are the PL club to have most players in the squad lol
