My expectations are the same as last season tbh

To see gradual improvement and gelling of the team - and that's an important factor here. We need a team. Not Palmer FC. I love Cole but we have seen in the past when we have been over-reliant on a single player.

I hate with recent managers the moment we make a sub (often way to late) the team seems to no longer know what its doing.

And we need to see much quicker improvements - the reason why I think sacking Pooch was the right thing is the improvements we saw were about 8 months too late. What we saw in April I personally feel should have been happening around Oct/Nov. When you are a top tier coach you should be IMO getting better results in far faster times, now I am not saying league winning or anything like that. Just a players who like like a team and have a rough idea of how to attack

My man there is a huge difference between 18 months and 0 improvement and just suddenly playing well, its gradual. Pooch showed 0 improvement for appx 9/10s of the season - this isn't good enough and the same top coaches will tell you that too.

And with both Klopp and Arteta there was gradual improvements - with Pooch we saw nothing. The team looked just as disjointed and clueless in March as we did day 1 of the season. Pooch was forced to pick better teams due to injury rather than his choices and further proved how inept he was

Yet, he trusted Cole Palmer very early on in the season, and gave him the role in the team that suited him and the team.

Southgate on the other hand.

Honestly I'm not overly bothered about Madueke. If someone wants to offer good money for him I'd take it.

For me after Palmer and Gusto, had a very promising season. Always working defenders,looking to make things happen. Unlike Mudryk who apart from nice finishing at times, was totally ineffective in games, especially when taking on defenders and ball retention

Yeah I'm hoping to see more of him tonight.

Just hope he has goals to his game as it looks like he has everything else.

Just glad it's on TV, as the CFC app is flakey af. When it works it's fine, getting it to work can be a head ache, and it randomly crashes

Would advise people to download an app called "Fotmob" it usually does well in telling you where stuff is being shown locally to you
