That Liverpool performance yesterday was so unlike them. Under Klopp they’d press like crazy and get a lot more players forward. Trent and Robertson barely crossed the half way line.
Both fullbacks tucked in and the 3 midfielders sitting deep made it difficult to play through the middle. They still played that long hoofball over the top though.
We still created a few decent chances. Palmer should be doing a lot better with those opportunities he missed.

My thoughts too.
They're transitioning well. There's more focus on technical ability over grafters in the middle (hence no mental pressing), but they've still retained that lethal counter element of Klopp's team.
I wasn't sure about that Slot appointment for them, but going by that performance they're fine. We could never properly transition like that in the Roman era - it was either Mourinho's Chelsea with a quirk or two, or going from one extreme to another.
