Yeah the Benitez win, Mata scored I think.

Fitting in a sense & bizarre in another. We had the best opposition record of a PL team at Old Trafford when Ferguson was there. Now they've got much worse post-Fergie & we can't buy a win there

our record v arsenal and utd when they've been crap for 10/15 years is shocking. Was a great time to chip away wins against them but instead we've been shocking.

Our record vs. Arsenal went to sh!t a bit later. I noticed the change occur during Conte's two years, suddenly the win against them didn't seem like a given anymore.

I remember the Potter game against them was when I really noticed the balance of power had shifted. They'd chipped away for years before, getting the results here & there at increasing frequency, but going into that game at home for the first time I expected us to lose & we did convincingly.

Nah we signed him last year I'm pretty sure. Keeper would've been Kepa as Potter preferred him to Mendy.

It’s annoying to see ten Hag get sacked, as I was enjoying seeing Man Utd in mid-table. And of course it’s immediately before we play them. But, whoever they appoint as their new manager, I’d be surprised if he was there in time to manage them for this weekend’s game. Even if they appoint someone in the next 3-4 days, presumably whoever is put in charge of training this week would be in charge for this one game.

So it’s likely to be an existing coach who manages them for this weekend. Does that count for a new manager bounce?

Honestly..how many times do we play a team the very next week they bin off an ineffective manager.

I think Newcastle will go strong. They have no European football.
