Only Palmer, Jackson and Madueke have more PL goals than Chalobah this season. Gonna be good having someone dangerous in the box at attacking set plays.

That’s a great point. We used to have Terry, Cahill, Ivanovic - and more recently Silva who could score for us. We have a specialist set play coach now, but he needs material to work with. Our defenders just do not even look dangerous.

This is the first Chelsea squad I can say has none of the four main qualities I associate with Chelsea. Every other one I've seen has at least had one of them.

Top quality keeper - nope
One commanding CB - nope
One freakishly fit CM - nope
One physical CF - nope

Last year was meh but we still had two of these - Silva & Gallagher

The only freakishly fit CM we have had is Kante and Essien for 2 seasons. Caicedo is getting there.

Watched this chat with Matisse and Miz last night and started to realise that we might have a huge problem brewing between manager and sporting directors here.

Maresca clearly not happy with this squad hence why he's so reluctant to give minutes to certain players in the PL and his insistence on only playing his established first team give or take a couple of other players.

This doesn't end well and we've seen this so many times before at Chelsea regardless of ownership at this club. Must be something in the water here as we seem to specialise in this type of breakdown in relationship.

This just shows how stupid it was to keep Palmer on for the second half of last game. We could all see he injured himself in the first half - he should have been subbed.

Without Palmer he should start Nkunku as the 10. This is the time.

Don’t wanna drop just because he might be sold because we NEED the points. Every single point in this league matters.
