Got another interview at a grammar school that I desperately wanted to teach at last year but came second to someone who was more experienced!

I know, totally irrelevant to football, but eh...I'm excited.

I don't want Hazard anymore. I had a dream that involved him beating up Mata.

Ta guys. Will be a huge challenge and a very pressurised position, but we'll see.

Onto footballing related matters - who thinks we'll actually get Hulk? I reckon the only real stumbling block will be the price Porto want for him (£80m release!), and possibly his own wage demands. Admit I don't know all that much about him other than he can play on the wing as well and has a decent goal-scoring record. Still, as always, I'm excited to see who we'll get!

you can do it BB!

the main reason I'd be inclined to go for Hulk is cos he can cover both CF and wing (if Torres rediscovers form)

gazza i sorta agree with you on Lampard

Also BB I don't know much about teacher transfers but you must've done really well for a grammar school to be interested in a first year (I think?) teacher.

I dont see the need for a playmaker if we go 4-2-3-1.

I dont think you can be that gung ho. If we have a 2 in midfield, it'll be Ramires plus a DM. Then 3 creative players above them and a striker (like Marin, Mata, Hazard?, and Torres)

Sideshow teacher transfer markets are quite interesting. For example my physics teacher is a bit like Kalou, she doesn't have any chance of being promoted and can only teach AS physics. So now she'll be transferred elsewhere where she isn't a bit part pla - I mean teacher.

My application is very strong in terms of the qualifications I have (grammar school, BA, MA, went to one of the best teacher training institutes). That's why I tend to get the interviews almost anywhere I apply.

Just need to work on the actual lessons and interviews.

My main weakness is behaviour management, although that doesn't tend to show in an interview lesson, and is very common for an NQT. In a grammar school, it should be less of an issue. The biggest pressures will be getting the top results, staying on top of all the marking and dealing with parents' demands. Quite a different ball game, in some ways.

More reports emerging that Di Matteo will be handed a 1 year contract.
