Surely the players would've noticed they were playing the wrong way when they started shooting at Reina?

Maybe they all thought it was a training session. A very well attended training session.

Everyone, except Carragher.

Is tonights game not symbolic of where football is. History against money. If united hold them off then other teams could challenge next season. If city get a title under their belt they can spend and spend and dominate for years. Picking up other teams better players time and time again.

That was exactly my thought

Wouldn't the FFP rules stop this though?

Better reason than any.

City. Not because I like them more than United,I just hate them a little less.

Steve g. Exactly the same dilemma i have on Saturday.

Ffp won't stop the money driven empire of city. The only defence is to beat them on the pitch. Let's hope united can defend the right way for all of us tonight.

Friend of mine just came up with valid point. If City win the title then we (other fans) can just shrug and say, well so you should - you spend 3 quarters of a billion.

If Utd win then they're the team who defeated the evil forces of money and become insufferably smug....

My Grandad played for City back in the 50's, I'd like to see them win it for him, I don't really care about the money. Beating Utd to the title would be a bonus of course

City aren't a 'money driven empire' any more than we are. How they got their money's irrelevant, it just means that they're the latest competition.

For what it's worth I think they've bought well and been brilliant this season. Either of us will be worthy champions.

The self made millionaire rather than the lottery winner.

Post nearly man. Uniteds wealth is sourced from its years of success on the football pitch. Citys is sourced from a rich sheik. Morally one is right and one is a bit shallow.

However i agree that barring a bad decision costing either team tonight whoever wins the title will have deserved it.

"The self made millionaire rather than the lottery winner."

You can't hate them for that though. Those lads have been dragged through the shte for years and years until very recently.

Who's to say Quataris won't buy United in the future?

It's all about what happens on the pitch. Come on reds!

The future rather than the past - We all have to move on.

City who stole arsenals better players and will no fourth have van p in the summer.
City who literally stamped on spurs title bid and cheated them out of three points.
Can't think what they did to chelsea but give me time. They took Wayne bridge of you which probably gains them points.

United all the way.

But not because we are their feeder club, just don't want another team buying the league.
