Ah, evidently my attempt to mock Carrickature's ridiculous morality claims were considered poor taste.

At the hundred post stage it is officially seventy five per cent city and twenty five per cent united.

Clearly city aren't the anti Christ and fans don't hold it against them that they have funded their success by buying up other teams talent.

May the best team win and whilst I have nothing against United I want City to win and lift the title.

If United do manage it, no complaints and they will have thoroughly deserved it.

You can buy players but you cannot buy a title or a trophy, that is earned.

It wasn't me didi. I actually felt you were helping my anti city campaign.

People are beginning to love City again.

Jfdi i would expect that you can't buy a title statement from you.

Oh, I didn't mind. I didn't expect it to last long.

Maybe that's what other clubs want. A rich owner to vale them to the promised land. The promised land where your success will always be because a rich man decided to use you as their play thing. Whatever rocks your boat.

..or rely on support from 1,000's of miles from where you're based to inflate your income.

As a Chelsea fan I never thought I would say this but I am voting for United. I actually think the United squad is not the best and if they go on and win it, it's Fergies greatest title win. Love him or hate him the guy's a genius.

And I expected this sort of reply from more than one person.

My comment followed the gooner that mentioned it.

Chelsea have had the ability to outspend United for almost ten years now, and have but you still have won more titles, if this doesn't rubbish the theory that you buy titles nothing ever will for those that are truly bitter towards competition.

Not bitter. Would just prefer to be fighting for the title against a team like arsenal or spurs who haven't totally bought their success. Admittedly united buy players but the source of the money is the clubs. We turn a profit.

City.

I don't understand what some people have against City buying players.

They don't overspend on overhyped talent - like Liverpool.

They don't use underhand tactics to get players on the cheap - like Barca.

They pay a fair price for every player and I respect that.

I would prefer the players to win the league and not the officials.

Therefore, it's City all the way.

You were doing so well till your brain switched itself off.

City have only ever broke the PL transfer record once and that was for Robinho who cost less than £1m more than Berbatov.

Theo you made a good point then right up until the officials statement. For that your vote won't count and good luck in your city loving in the summer when they take van p. At least you will get a fair price.

================================

How is that a reason to hate a team?

"I hate Chelsea because they bought Shevchenko for £30m.

I hate Utd because they bought Veron for £28m

I hate City because they bought Lescott for £22m

I hate Liverpool because they bought Downing for £20m"

You góonlets are such idiots

Boris and his vulgar united comments again. I thought we had agreed to move on from that sort of stuff. Clearly not.
