The fact is, City have just won their first title for 44 years, pipped their bitter rivals in the 5th minute of injury time, and had an open top bus parade round Manchester after suffering 20 years of United parades, and thanks to Tevez, they ended the day apologising to Sir Alex.

This means that United won something
An apology
Manchester United have won more apologies this season than anyone.

Ozil - City are Top Dogs at the moment, City overtaking United's trophy count (which is a different topic) would take at least a couple of decades but I'll be quite happy if we turn you into 'Yesterday's Men', like Liverpool during my lifespan.

thats not gonna happen Boris, and i'll tell you why.
you beat us to the league by 1 minute, the big spending city against the team in decline!
Fergie knows we need to buy in the summer, and anyone he brings in in midfileld will be an improvement on what we already have, so we will get better.
Realistically, what areas can city improve on?? i dont think there are any areas.
you also seem to forget everytime someone comes in and tries to take over as "topdogs", Fergie see's them off, and next season you can guarantee we will be pushing you again.
I don't think that's true at all
Utd players past and present have been falling over themselves to have a pop at City all season,do you think if they had won the title that would have immediately stopped?
City have never been a rival for decades so most of the banter has only been relevant for a couple of years.
This whiter than white nonsense fools nobody pal and a flipping in the bitterness league has already taken place with the patheticly sour post match interviews with your manager & club captain
"but I'll be quite happy if we turn you into 'Yesterday's Men', like Liverpool during my lifespan."
get over yourself buddy, you've deservedly won a title that you were in danger of losing with two minutes left.
United have lost titles by narrow margins in the past to Blackburn and Chelsea both with apparently comparatively unlimited financial backing, and I'm pretty sure folks got giddy then about a golden future without United...
Why not just enjoy it and start the pipe dreams if you get a few more under your belt?
City has not reached perfection so can improve next season.
I have no doubt whatsoever that United will be challenging hard.
If United had won the title on the last day of the season from City I am not at all sure that nobody would have had some sort of joke about City on the victory parade.
We can improve on the quality of our covering players.
Too soon for Savic.
Can we trust Balotelli?
Kolo is expendable
Who's challenging for Clichy's place?
What do we do with AJ?
Who can step in for Silva and Yaya?
There's a whole lot where we can improve.
Wow, have your apology, and have the Charity Shield.
I'll stick with the Premier League ta.
the problem with city is they are 2 injuries away from looking normal.
Kompany and Toure have been immense for you this season, especially kompany and it showed when he was missing through suspension.
injuries to either of those two and you have no ready replacements.
we had a shed load of injuries this season (and no this isnt an excuse, its part and parcel of the game) but we pushed you to the limit with a very depleted side.
this may sound like a bit of a sour post, but infact its more of a compliment to the two players mentioned.
Every United fan I know thinks you've overachieved this season because of injuries, new players not gelling and an apparent lack of a midfield.
If Fergie can replace Scholes, Giggs, Rio and Evra with players who can immediately blend in then the title will be a close run thing again but remember that City are unlikely to have a Balotelli or Tevez like saga running in the background next time round and players like Nasri and Aguero will have settled in.

which makes the whole " make you a team of yesterday" comment a bit redundant.
whatever happens it looks good for manchester, but not so good for the rest of the country

That's fair comment and that's the areas we are going to strengthen in the Summer, United need much more of a refit because there's no guarantee that Vidic will return as the same player.
"There's a whole lot where we can improve."
Aren't you running at about £22m annual deficit just against operating costs at the moment, which doesn't include future bumper signings and wages?
You're going to need a few more kit and stadium deals if you're going to replace Savic, Balotelli, Kolo, Clichy, Johnson and buy in cover for Silva and Toure and keep Platini happy.
Damn you ffp!

Paul. Yes I do.
When the fight's over, you shake hands.
Professionals to then start rubbing it in. It makes you look like bad winners. Couldn't believe the first words out of Summerbee's mouth was a dig at Sir Alex
Ripley's cat is right. You need to get the United chip of your shoulder (City I mean, not you personally )
Don't worry about United next year City fans. Everyone in football knows that next year is Liverpool's year!
Bravo JKN
Still not seen anyone say that

Doris...who are the top dogs in Spain?
which makes the whole " make you a team of yesterday" comment a bit redundant.
I was talking about in 10/15 years time if things go the way of my wild fantasies - Only Scholes and Rooney will still be playing for you then out of the current squad.
I didn't say anyone had said it. I said everybody KNOWS!
Doris...who are the top dogs in Spain?
Mozil, you tell me.
Then you are clearly not being kept in the loop!
