you think we will keep guidetti?
I think either Balotelli and/or Tevez will leave so I'd give him a chance. He's still young enough not to be included in our 25 senior squad even if we do go for an established striker.
id like to think so, i think he would be a good 4th option for us, btw mancini said today he is 101% sure balotelli is staying according to SSN
I agree with Boris! Use Guidetti in the LC and if he impresses maybe give him a few sub appearances! If you want these players to progress you HAVE to give them a chance! Fergie did this with Wellbeck and it seems he's done the right thing.
Who in the right mind is going to take some of those players off your hands, especially with the wages they are on?
Isn't that why they have been loaned out for 2 years and why Tevez is still there even though he seems to want to leave you every chance he gets.
Not here to WUM. It's a serious concern of a few of my mates who are blues.
You are here to WUM but it's obvious that City are 'warehousing' some players to sell at a later date because of FFP. Not something I like but we didn't invent the rules.
I think an unexpected bid for hazards cousin thomas Vermaelen from arsenal may well unsettle him enough to want a move, especially if we manage to get RVP.Unlikely but even a bid for the pair would be worth it to see wengers miserable sour face
Need to get rid of the unwanted players even if we take a hit on them.

Guidetti RVP/cavani. Hazard. Vermaelen
Ade Crocky and Bridge only have 1yr left i think so it may be in their intrest to move this year.
Not sure Tevez will leave now though.
Hazard and Martinez will do me.
Santa Cruz, Bridge, and Adebayor are the most obvious ones.
Anyone else - don't get rid. I personally don't want to see players leave (even bit part players or young players who were previously out on loan). We have a premier league winning squad here. And yes, that includes even Savic, who played a part when needed (and will have learned a lot from that experience).
But savic surely needs to go get some playing experience somewhere in Europe? Id rather have boyata
See your point Ali, but with Savic, he's at an age (and of course this season was new to the country) that I'm not sure sending him out on loan would be beneficial in the long term.
With someone younger, who is more accustomed to this country, and indeed more familiar with the club (in that he's been at the club since his youth days), I can see the benefit. But with a young foreign player who's new to the club (relatively speaking), even sending him out to a lesser team in this country I'm not sure would be the best move. I dunno, I have high hopes for Savic, and I honestly can't see a better environment in which for him to improve than by learning from someone like Kompany.
Wouldn't get rid of Guidetti, these kids need to be given a chance for the project and their careers to work.
I would be more than happy if Balo and Dzeko were still at the club next year. Just dont want Tevez.
add yaya to the list of players leaving..
I have a gut feeling that Savic will eventually come good, it would be a waste to sell him now anyway.
I've no real interest in RVP as he obviously doesn't want to leave Arsenal.
Agreed on Savic Boris, hes a young player, he needs a chance, not in the deep end yet...
You with the latin name, if the tabloids were accurate we wouldn't have a squad left. The guy was quoted as saying he loved Barca and would like to finish his career there. Are you thick or sensationalist?
sensationalist:

I've no problem with Savic whatsoever. Yes, he made some mistakes, but I feel that they were magnified by the attention he got as a result of Kompany's suspension and Lescott's injury (ie. people hoping/expecting him to mess up). Take the Swansea game, for example - he made one mistake to give the ball away, largely as a result of poor movement from his team-mates, and even then the danger had actually been dealt with before they scored, the goal coming in a second phase of play. Silva gave the ball away countless times in that game and no-one slated him for that.
There were also a number of games in which Savic played well, particularly the home game against Bayern Munich. I think his size is just working against him at the moment with regards to playing as centre-half, but once he's fully adjusted to the English game and has bulked up a bit he'll be fine.
Anyway, my list of ins/outs:
Outs:
Santa Cruz
Bridge
Adebayor
A.Johnson
Tevez
M.Johnson
Balotelli (too much of a distraction, not convinced he'll ever grow up despite his promises)
Ins:
Guidetti (deserves a chance now)
Hazard
A decent centre-half (not so easy, as its rare for a team to have three good centre-halfs!)
Getting the right CB could be a real problem as any established player isn't going to join us just to play second fiddle to Lezza and VK. We need to develop Savic and/or Boyata or look for an up and coming youngster with a bit of patience.
Thats why i thick Martinez would be a great purchase he can cover centre half and DM . Hargreaves as proved worthless this season and will be on his way.
Agreed. Centre-halfs aren't like forwards and midfielders - you can't have a rotation policy with them, as partnership is so important. Any decent centre-half will want to play week-in, week-out, and would probably rather play regularly for a mid-table club than occasionally for a top club.
Utd are the only team I can think of who have an abundance of adequate centre-halfs. Vidic is great, Rio and Evans are good enough, and Smalling and Jones are at least half-decent. So, getting a third 'top' centre-half is wishful thinking, and we should instead work to ensure that Savic and Boyata can at least become good enough to step-in for the odd game.

They are well spaced out age-wise,. barring injury or an unbelievable drop in form, Vinny is going to be one of our CB's for at least the next 6 years.
