8bit,

You're correct I am in the minority. I was also in a minority of fans who didn't want him sacked. I'm not sure what's changed everyone's opinions.

Can you tell me why you think Rafa would be a good choice?

----
The thing is you criticise Rafas man management but then put forward AVB who lost the dressing room, coaching staff and the tea lady at Chelsea.

Basically the question you have to answer is what do the other managers have that Rafa doesn't?

Sir Robert, you've just revealed yourself as an arrogant, offensive berk. OP's was an honest, valid opinion. If you don't agree, say so, don't slag the writer off.

I understand the apprehension, and i can see the parallels with kd. However in a way bringing back kd did work.

Kd got the club back together and the gloom lifted and for the firdt time in yrs we all moved together as one and Anfieldvwas full again.

I didn't think about it that way. I just thought he had one bad experience (Chelsea) and don't think that should tarnish his rep from Porto. Good point.

You haven't got a clue what you are talking about.

If you think the op is a LFC fan then you are wet behind the ears.

GB- agreed but towards the end of kunnnys second reign the mood went again! Look at the discontent towards him in the end! You need a new man, young and ready to take on a mighty challenge cos hell even Jose isn't a miracle worker

I think in Sir Bob, we have found another victim of the Gedi mind trick Rafa carried out on the kop before his departure.

He's had his memory wiped of the pain, in a similar manner to what the mind does to women, who 12 months after the "never again arrrggghhh" pain of childbirth, say "yeah I want another one".............

Fergie... Go away now. Go show your bitterness towards city fans. I don't get the bitterness!!

I agree with sir Rob but don't think the guy is a wum in the slightest. Just a little misinformed especially regarding the Keane and Aquilani transfers and also the Alonso deal which would have made sense at the time.

And Robert being a berk forces admin to come on and watch this article on a Saturday morning!

Well done Robert you utter well done!

It didn't work with KK

-----
It did as he made us perform better than Hodgson

-----
Rafa made a lot of questionable transfer dealings, selling Xabi, buying Robbie Keane and Aquilani

-----
Xabi handed in a transfer request to go to Madrid (as did Ronaldo) he didn't want Keane Aquilani is in the italian international that plays for AC Milan at the moment, not the hallmark of a bad player is it?

------
Stevie G getting upset when Rafa took off Torres during the match against Birmingham
------
Eh? One substitution? They both stayed didn't they? v Hodgson who lost Mascherano and Torres (Torres wanted away before Kenny came in)

---
Just a few points there.

Not a chance Fred! The OP poses a valid question being new and that Robert lays into him! Whats the need!!?

Fergie you seem a decent poster so ignore what Rob is saying and let's keep the abuse to a minimum.

Ive also had enough of Toblerone Bitter and he's all alone on my filter list.

Being better than Hodgson isn't the hallmark of being successful. If you get sacked after 1 full season then it can't have worked.

Fergie, i think admin2 may be seconds away from kicking you off the site for humping dog related comments. As he has currently on the phone to me.

Also Rob is half wrong about the Keane deal. Rafa only wanted Keane if we could get Barry too. He had a vision for the paid of them. The owners bided their time with the Barry deal but the Keane deal had to be done quickly and then they pulled the carpet from under Rafa and he was stuck with Keane in a system in which he would never work.

Yeah, that's cool Fred!
