Yeah but they have only rejected the first enquiry. Don't see why they won't loan him back, they have seemed more than keen to shift him to West Ham or Milan this week in reports.
Newcastle would be going backwards bringing back Carroll. The money they got for him has been used to move away from the system that suited him. They have 'players' now rather than 'hoofers' if you follow me.
i can only see us selling carroll straight away, weve already been bitten by a loan with a commitment to buy with aquaman, so cant see us doing it again, if we can get 15-20m for him then it gives rodgers the cash to get a couple of other players in

i think his form towards the back end of last year showed people that he still has something there, im surprised the rodge has seemingly given up on him, but i suppose with the signings we are looking to make, he wont fit in the system, and he was very wasteful, i think he would suit lambert at villa
and i have pepe atm as my backup cb
