West Ham have a habit of signing has-beens with PL experience really though. It's a shame because in Tomkins, Vaz Te and others they have the potential for a really exciting side.
I think Tomkins and Noble are both fantastic prospects for the future. Vaz Te blows hot and cold though, be interesting to see how he does this season in the PL.

I'm with you there. He's from Basildon, which is just five minutes down the road for me. Hopefully he has a good Olympic campaign.

United have been rumoured to be interested in Lucas Moura and van Persie. How could we accommodate them plus Rooney, Kagawa, Nani, Carrick, Valencia and Welbeck?!
Van Persie would walk past any of them other than Rooney into the side. It'd be hard to fit them all into a balanced formation though, especially with Rooney preferring the 10 role. Where would Kagawa and Moura play?
I still think Nani will be sold.
I'd play 4-4-2 diamond at home with Kagawa behind Rooney and Welbeck/RvP/Hernandez. Sell Berbatov.
