It's quite funny to the pessimism that pervades in both sets of fans (Forest & weeds). eg "It's not us, nothing ever good happens to us" etc....L
Weeds look like they have other offers to consider. Right now, Forest don't (?). We need this. Now let's all think positive and make it happen!!!
it could be a case of no news is simply no news as well webbo. it is typical of forest to tell us nothing simply because they are sitting on their hands doing nothing.
it might also be a case of a consortium led by mark arthur trying to by the club, in which case no news is bad news.

Sounds good that

i simply can't take the risk of assuming you're being sarcastic stret.
in what respect could that possibly sound good?
Bin robbers walking the league
comedy gold
"proclaiming you were going to walk the league before a ball was even kicked!" I think you're mistaking us for the bookies.
The hypocrisy is killing me

It was far from all of us slagging Leicester off. I for one see the massive hypocrisy of some of the posters on here. In my view, if you're lucky enough to get massive investment from anywhere then good luck to you. Don't think leicester have used it that wisely as yet, but then again, if we get it, no guarantee we will either.
It will be intersting to see how many 'forest fans' sing about not being english to the leicester fans if we do get foreign investors.

Leicester City FC are an embarrasment to the football league, and to themselves. simples.
Coming from the same fans who made the last chairman of your club feel unwelcome at the club he owned and ploughed shed loads of his own money into!!!
Hypocrisy or what?
most of us loved and appreciated ND, it was a handful who felt it necessary to hound him out.

Not really stillhate, IF we get taken over by the Kuwatis or anybody foreign invester and opposing fans were to sign that, i wouldn't be bothered in the slightest, infact i'd have a bit of a laugh and take some cash out my wallet and flash it. But to start making it into somesort of rasist issue is absurd.
People take some incidents at football matches way too serious and out of context.

in what respect is singing 'you're not english anymore' a racial slur?
any money it was a few lowlife white boys that reported it as such for no other reason than to maliciously make trouble for forest with no regard for the public money totally wasted because the police were obliged to follow it up.
whoever made the complaint should be charged and criminalised themselves, simple as that
Little leicester.
Never won a proper trophy.
Well, I'm not going to get into the debate again, but, the whole idea of singing 'your not english anymore' does imply that there is something wrong with not being english. hence, being english is held up as being better than anything else. So, the implication, the opwners of leicster being Thai, or, worse still, the residents of leicester being largely Asian, makes them worse than the British. So, slightly racist either way. Being half Indian myself, it made me rather uncomfortable.
I'm not saying it was the Holocaust or anything, and I don't think it was intended to cause major offence. I just think it was a little bit stupid and thoughtless, and was likely to cause worse offence to some people than it did to others.

an english person believeing the english are better than everyone else would only make them the same as any other nationality.
thais feel the same about thailand............ they also openly use the blanket term 'farang' (foreigner) to refer to non thais. nobody takes offence to it there but can you imagine the scandal if i turned to you as a half indian and said 'oi, foreigner'?
people in this country have no idea what racism is anymore. black is a word in the english language so why should i apply for written authorisation from the reverand jessie jackson to use it?
I'm in agreement that the way we are careful over using words such as black is ridiculous, but that really isn't the same. If a person feels their country is better then fine. but to sing about it in an attempt to make derogatory commments to people is at least bordering on racism. I for one don't feel better than anyone because I'm english. At all.
This is way off topic lads....
