What about Manchester United, or Arsenal, or Spurs, could even add City now. They play attacking football, where the fans demand to be entertained too, and I'm pretty sure they are English!

--------------------------------

How many English players are in those teams?

Why does the national team seem to struggle every tournament?

-----------------------

Rio
Carrick
Smalling
Jones
Rooney
Welbeck
Young
Lennon
Bale(welsh but it's close enough)
King
THudd
Wilshere
Walcott
Scholes
Barry

etc.etc.

These are all important players for their clubs (who are known for entertaining football), and are english
------------------------------

And how many of those would you consider 'world class'?
--------------------

My point wasn't whether they are world class, it is whether they are capable of playing attacking and entertaining football, and clearly they are if they play for those clubs who do play those styles of football.

How many are world class though? Not many, probably only Rooney!

"cor·rupt·ed, cor·rupt·ing, cor·rupts
v.tr.

2. To ruin morally; pervert.
3. To taint; contaminate.
4. To cause to become rotten; spoil.

This is English football? "

English football is responsible for 2, 3 and 4. So I was in the right using that word.

Shot yourself in the foot.

So the style of English football is 'perverted', 'tainted' 'rotten'.

I take it you believe Platini should call a ban on our way of playing football?

All those English CL wins in the past 7 years, all tainted, rotten!

Chelsea CL winning team, the core being English.

Liverpool, had the likes of Gerrard, Carragher etc.

MUFC, Carrick, Scholes, Giggs, Rooney, Rio.

Obviously though these players are all tactically inept with their 'perverted' mentality of play

Why do you say all these things Dubbed?
Teams can play football anyway they choose. When you and your namesake realise that then you both won't sound bitter when results go against you.
I think Wenger has brainwashed you. Whenever a team stops Arsenal from winning he gets moody, makes excuses and you swallow it.Grow up

Corrupt is a very strange way to describe a style of football, unless of course it is an Italian team.

There's no where to play football, I drove past where I played for a team when I was 11 and realised it was on a hill, everywhere else had no ball game signs.

That's another thing. One has to pay money to play football in a leisure centre or something. Other European countries are stacked with football pitches of all sizes, all over the place, in every area.

Another big problemo.

We had and have the same problems in Germany. Youth coaches prefered body builder looking guys like Ballack and co. and had problems with players like Özil. The problem didnt dissapear. Winning even in youth games is the most important thing not the fun.

Look at Spain national team and you know there is a different attitude by coaches. Coaches teach short passing, technical and tactical things and not running along.

Really, you've been to all these places, and all the places in the UK

Spaniards are scared of tackling. It's ruining the game. Non contact

I have no idea what its like in other countries and I can only say that in Stoke and Sheffield finding a decent place to play football is difficult.

There are plenty of parks and fields around where I live, there are two big fields/parks in 15 minutes walking distance, and another smaller one within 15 minutes too, and I live just outside the city centre!

Don't want to go all kung fu but, If you want to play, you will find a place

posted on 6/6/12

There is also a local PowerLeague (5 aside pitches) just opposite the local high school too, again a 15 minute walk away

The OP said "English football mentality is totally corrupt".
Mentality:
1. The characteristic attitude of mind or way of thinking of a person or group.
2. The capacity for intelligent thought.
Someone has been kind enough to give meaning to corrupt. Let's stick to the exact words of the article than omit certain things to suit your argument.

I live in central London and there are 2 sets of pitches within a 10 minute walk and then the big parks like kensington gardens and Battersea not much further.

We've got the space, but I agree with lots of the OP's points.
