we need transparency i tells ya!

if you were a motherwell or hearts fan why would you boycott. you have a very realistic chance of finishing second and motherwell have CL qualifiers

posted on 21/6/12

Killie- they know which way there club is voting regardless.

Motherwell- they are in Europe this season and have a good chance of qualifying for the Europa League.

Aberdeen- they already know which way their club is going to vote and that's against a new-co.

But that's not what's been reported. Reports are fans of particularily Aberdeen and Motherwell were boycotting.

The only club who's confirmed sales ate down are Dundee united.

Apart from killie, I don't think it's obvious what way clubs will vote so that's not an answer

Aberdeen have made their intentions known by their statements.

I'm quite happy that people are still buying tickets in an uncertain time for the game anyway.

I disagree henrik. For me the only club who have made it crystal clear are killie.

Regardless, it's been widely reported that spl fans are boycotting season tickets yet this isn't the case? Is it to much to ask for the truth to be reported?

Can only be a positive for the game

I think its more the point that no matter what happens, even if The Rangers are in the division, they will be so weak that every other club can actually compete for cups, european places.

Plus they get the chance to watch their club pump one of the old firm twice at home.

It's funny though, all those years we have been told that you don't care if nobody likes you.

To see you scrambling and worrying over other clubs is a bit, well, demeaning.

Also, could we please have a source on the stats? One that gives a comparative analysis over 3 or more seasons?

Ta much.

Tim - I don't care that nobody likes rangers. If you read the post, it's about the reporting of facts. What's been reported doesn't match the facts. Ta much

Pearson - Fair points, but that's not what I'm saying. I'm asking why it's been reported that there would be mass season ticket boycotting if rangers are allowed back in. The chairmen have in the main said they will listen to the fans. So if the fans are still buying pre vote, will the chairmen now vote yes as the fans don't seem as bothered as the media report. Apart from dun utd

Then we of course have the question of why the media are reporting myths

You are trying to say we are scrambling and trying to get clubs onside on the back of us actually giving a fck about what league we are playing in next season and being interested in what way clubs are going to vote.

The business men in charge of the club want the SPL becasue there will likely be more money in it for us.

The business men are appealing to the SPL to let the club back in.

Se the fans.....we want to see our club playing football again...if thats in the SPL or division three...so be it

Concoct your wee stories in your head if you want.....we really dont care if anyone likes us or not.

All we want is to know where we will be playing football next season....thats it....the SPL clubs can give us the two fingers if they want, they will feel the effect of it themselves if they do...so its theri choice, not ours, wont see many of us fans pandering to them!!

See if this was the other way round and it was Celtic in this mess and us preparing for a Champ's League qualifier and a title defence - I literally would not give a toss and would not be thinking, talking or writing about Celtic. Ever. Astounds me how much some folk really do care about a club that isn't their own.

But that's just me

We're buying Bury and moving to England anyway so who cares about the SPL season tickets Bloody lunacy the stuff the papers up here will print!

Papa - I just don't get why the media would report it as facts. Loads of them have done it yet clubs say they are either the same or up.

I have read fans groups saying they wouldn't be buying but that just loils to be hot air and bluster going by what Aberdeen, killie and Motherwell ate saying. Motherwell fans in particular were saying they would boycott but their not

You certainly like to make it clear though, IE.

You are obviously to close tithe situation, eye of the beholder and all that.

'O would some power the giftie gie us to see ourselves as others see us'

YATP.

Tim - nah, can't make it any clearer, I don't give a fook if everyone hates rangers. Just like to keep it factual rather than myths. That's all

This is potentially the biggest decision in Scottish football ever so facts would be useful rather than outright lies ans bluster

In other words, 'vote us out if you dare'

I'm getting fed up of this bullishness and brinksmanship.

You lot ARE pandering, but to the lowest common denominator. You would almost think that none of this mess is of Rangers' making.

And I'm still waiting for the source regarding season ticket sales, IE.

You know, facts.

Tim - its nothing to do with vote us out if you dare. It's vote us out if you want but bear in mind it WILL affect you financially. All about the facts tim

Tim - go on twitter, Jim spence, the same Jim spence who said season ticket sales are collapsing just a week ago, is now reporting that clubs are either selling the same or more than this stage last season. (dun utd aside)

I'm sure it will be on bbc sport website and probably others. Go have a look, I'm not lying
