Simple - he goes missing when it matters. You can count on one hand the times he's performed well in the big games.

Add to that in his entire career from 1999 he has had just two 20 goal seasons in the many leagues he has played in.

I hate the 'goes missing in big games' reason. That is just an awful excuse. Straight away I can remember ibra scoring a winner in an El Clasico game that helped Barca win the league and holding some sort of record for scoring goals in the european championships. He is a class player.

Why not? Van Persie now gets more goals and does not dither on the ball like Ibra does when he is 'picking' his options. Van Persie better in most aspects of the game. The way Ibra played at the Emirates this year was hilarious. He got caught offside more times than he touched the ball. The so called best striker in the world can't be that stupid.

And besides, this has nothing to do with what he has done in the past. This is about NOW, and it's very hard to name a striker who is better than Ibrahimovic.

I actually agree with you Dubbed, so many fans put him down because he has an ego. Does this mean Ronaldo is bad because he has an ego too? Ibra is a quality playmaker and a fantastic striker too, for me the top 5 striker in the world. Is he better than Villa? Debateable.
