They cut us open a few times especially in the first half but as the game progressed Koscielny became dominant and Messi redundant. It was a remarkable performance at the time because not everybody was convinced by Koscielny yet.

If you're going to play clever, at least get your spelling right.

We're not in a spelling contest - and I am not playing clever. I dont need to be clever to draw attention to your inability to debate properly

Kossy still had a great game, not disputing that. Just saying it wasn't a total domination from Kossy on Messi.

When you question a man's debating skills, you question his intelligence.
Thus it is essential you get your house in order, simpleton. Comprehende?

You don't know what you're talking about.
Even when Gotze was playing on the right, he
was roaming about as an attacking mid.
His natural position is in the middle. Just cause a
player plays in a certain position doesn't make
that position his natural one.
And the only reason he was playing there was
cause Kagawa was flourishing in the middle.

My point is that they do not play in the same position, and Götze has been transformed into a,roaming winger. You're right about that. However the majority of those that play on the wings cut inside and roam. Götze will be a winger as he isn't good enough to displace Özil. Even now Kagawa has gone, expect him to play out wide.

Özil for Germany and Kagawa for Dortmund.

Do you mean comprende?

By the way, keep going with the insults - confirms my point

Wilshere can play as an attacking mid. Albeit won't do well imo. So they can be compared.

Gotze wasn't playing as a winger, once again. Just cause one player plays on the right, or the left doesn't mean he's a winger.
He was playing as an attacking mid.

Kagawa isn't better than Gotze. No chance. The guy liked playing in the middle. He likes it so much that, that was his condition when joining Man U. Playing that very position. He wasn't even a playmaker. He was basically a second striker. Gotze didn't mind. And he was destructive as ever.

No one's on Ozil's level in Germany. But he is certainly better than Kagawa.

Ey what's with the attack. eh?

posted on 24/6/12

Hardly destructive, he was injured a lot of the time and wasn't brilliant. Kagawa had by far the better year, although that doesn't mean he is the better player.

just messing around, welcome back

We'll just see if Klopp plays Götze through the middle then. I remain adamant that Wilshere and Götze are two different players thus cannot be compared.

Wilshere is more deep-lying.

What's happened here? When I posted on this article it was about Ibra and who was the best striker in the World and Kamran and Dubbed were having their usual couples argument. Now, it's transformed into an Gotze/Wilshere debate. Who started this? P.s. this Henrykamp guy can't be an Arsenal fan as he doesn't even know the fee we paid for Giroud he thought it was 18M.

Back to the topic then
RVP > Ibrahimovic

It's a looooooong story. To be frank, I can't even remember the path that the argument took.

Wilshere is a centre mid. But he can still be compared to him.

Who else will Klupp play? There's no else of Gotze's playmaking ability in that team.

NanBread

I bet you think Rafael's better than Sagna. Don't you? And RVP is definitely world-class, one of the best strikers in the World.

Their roles are different, so any comparison is invalid.

Klopp will probably sign a replacement for Kagawa, although he may move Götze to the middle and put Reus on the wing to accomodate him.

Can see why. What an idiotic comment to make.

We need henryhamp back here defending Ramsey, slating Wilshere and wanting to not be seen as either an infiltrating potato or just being mildly retârded. Or both.

"Their roles are different, so any comparison is invalid."

It's not about roles. They have similar attributes. And Wilshere can play further up in a similar position.
But we'll have to agree to disagree.

"Klopp will probably sign a replacement for Kagawa, although he may move Götze to the middle and put Reus on the wing to accomodate him."

He doesn't need to. Play Reus on the right, Kuba on the left and Gotze in his favored role.

I'm sure that they will be back tomorrow, and when they are I'll be here to rip their arguments to shreds again.
