It is sad to hear these Tottenham fans talking about Harry Redknapp in this way. He has been their best manager in a long long time, and to think that they will start fighting for the title by sacking him and replacing him with AVB, that is delusion.

the sad thing is, as a team i quite like spurs, they play decent football.

as for fans like sandy, and the OP, well, the least said about those the better

we r, delete the little p ricks please mate. I don't think we have it in us to win the title in a few years but i certainly think AVB is an excellent appointment and will be a success. Let's hope he has a bit of passion for the club unlike a certain Harry

I am sorry but I would have expected comments from Spurs fans about Rodgers appointment for us.

Show me where i hated him.. i at Chelsea and their ch-av players not letting him manage the club .. ,
=========================================
AVB had every chance at Chelsea, he upset players new and old, Lakaku to Lampard, he ostracised Anelka and Alex because they put in transfer requests as they wanted more playing time.

At the time of AVB's sacking from Chelsea Ian Wright said:

“I was shocked at his appointment in the first place and I thought ‘Well, let’s see what the guy’s got’.

"Everybody knows it’s an ageing team and an ageing squad, but I thought that he would have brought some coaching ability in there that would have got it going, at least until the end of the season so then he could get his own players but it doesn’t happen like that at Chelsea."

“Chelsea have still got quality players there, so they could still have done something and got him through until at least the end of the season, but he’s upset everybody.

“He’s upset the media, he’s upset his own players saying things like he doesn’t care because he’s got the backing of the owner, and obviously it was premature in respect of him saying that because now he’s gone.”

Wright comes out with some rubbish at times, but that is pretty much how I saw it. My concerns for AVB began when I saw him snapping at the media when they strated to question him on the results he was getting.

I hope he has learnt from his mistakes at Chelsea and goes on to be the manager many hoped and belieived he can be but the failings at Chelsea last season were of his making, they were his mistakes, no one elses.

As wright said at the time of AVB's sacking “Chelsea have still got quality players there, so they could still have done something" RDM proved it.

Chelsea's cup triumphs is only covering up how poor RDM did in the league, his record is worse then AVB's for christ sake!

we r, ignore them mate. They are just bitter because us spurs fans are positive about it all. They expected us to be all over redknapp and wanted to give us some stick about it but now they can't because us spurs fans see this as a positive move. AVB willl suit spurs more than he did chelsea. I for one am glad harry has gone and we can start fresh with a talented manager.
