Great article, pretty unique as well
1) United - after losing the league the way we did we will be motivated for the next season and believe we will win it at a canter
2) City - will struggle to consistently perform this season. They will have the champions tag as well and everyone will turn up against them. I believe they'll just make 2nd
3) Spurs - Arsenal losing VanPersie will be disastrous. Spurs have got a good manager and some cracking players and have signed adebayor.
4) Arsenal - will just make 4th place after a topsy turvy season. Inconsistency will be their achilles heel
5) Chelsea - after sacking di matteo, hazard and co will be poor. Jt is finished, drogba is gone. Will just manage 5th
6) Newcastle - will make the top 6 at the expense of everton. Liverpool will finish 8th after rodgers is sacked and the kop will sing ynwa.
Bottom 3
18) Wigan - can't keep escaping relegation
19) Swansea - second season syndrome
20) Reading - can't handle the prem
Cheers
Dare devil,
your response was one of the main reasons i made this article. As predictable as people say this league is, any two given people will have a very different opinion on how things will go.
In terms of relegation, i think it could be any one of maybe 8 teams.
Spurs have no chance of finishing above arsenal
merry
why are you so convinced Liverpool will do so well? bear in mind Rodgers was managing in the Championship 18 months ago and his last job where he was expected to produce results failed miserably
they have a wholly average squad, i don't care what idiots like Got Better have to say. if they make top 6 it'll be a bloody good achievemnt imo
Spurs are losing Modric which also will be a massive loss to them as everything tends to go through him. Poldolski and Giroud have 39 goals between them so I think it's a bit harsh to say it will be disastrous for us. Also Walcott chipped in with alot of assists for rvp to.
I think it will be a good achievement too. But I also think Liverpool possess better players than their performances over the lark few years suggest. Anfield will be a tough place to visit and with a couple more signings, i think they'll do okay. Bare in mind how many times they hit the woodwork last season. They did have awful luck and that is unlikely to continue.
also bear in mind that in addition to probably losing Modric Spurs are bringing in Adebayor who now has nowt to play for with his permanent move to the Lane secured
it's been the stroy opf the guy's career to date, he works hard to get his contract but then sees his work done and his form collapses-it should have been pretty telling that despite a productive loan spell and Ade's own enthusiasm that Madrid had no interest in making his move permanent!
This is going to be Torres' year but Chelsea will still finish second
1.City
2.Chelsea
3.United
4.Arsenal
My prediction is this so far:
1. United
2. Chelsea/City
3. Arsenal
4. Spurs
5. Newcastle
6. Everton
7. Liverpool
I only included top 4 as any other position is irrelevant
1. City
2. Chelsea
3. United
4. Arsenal
5. $puds
6. Everton
7. Newcastle
8. Liverpool
.

.
18. Norwich
19. West Ham
20. Reading
Man City
Chelsea
Man Utd
Arsenal
Liverpool
Spurs
I'd be disappointed if Liverpool finished as low as 6th especially considering Spurs are losing 2/3rds of their quality players and Arsenal all of them.
It's possible but I'd consider 6th underperforming.
United
City
Chelsea
Arsenal
Liverpool
Spurs
Swansea
Reading
Norwich
West Ham to finish top 10.
Probably the only opposition supporter there Batmanu that thinks we'll win it, I love being written off every season anyway. People just never learn.
1. United
2. City
3. Arsenal
4. Chelsea
5. Tottenham
6. Liverpool
7. Newcastle
No idea about the rest.
I think it'll be close between Man City, Chelsea and Man Utd. I can see only 5 points separating the three of them. I think we'll finish in the top 4 relatively comfortably with Liverpool pushing us the hardest.
I think Chelsea will flop under Di Matteo. Look he did well for them but I think the players were so fired up, they just wanted to prove a point after AVB's departure. Obviously they got so lucky as well, especially in their CL run.
Hazard will do really well imo but I just can't see chelsea challenging united/city over 38 games. They still need a new striker, Torres may have hit some goals for Spain but he missed plenty of times at the euros as well. He's class but I think his 'return to form' is being exaggerated.
I think we'll comfortably finish in the top 4 this time, as long as we buy a top class midfielder.
With Wenger at the helm you'll always be in the top 4 Kam, no doubt about it.
