I love being written off every season anyway. People just never learn.
=======================================
Wrote you off last season, correctly.
City won the league, and united won nothing.
People never learn ?
Most people were right.

I can't see RDM gelling that team as well, and he won't be able to play defensive tactics much in a 38 game league.

I also think Chelsea will flop under Di Matteo but he is only on a 2 year contract so he will more than likely be gone before Christmas and a top manager will guide them top 3rd and probably ANOTHER FA Cup

Next season will be a straight fight between Chelsea, and Man City.

Indeed VRF.

I think with the signing of a top quality attacking midfielder and a few good squad players, we can put a semi-decent challenge for the title without really threatening to win it.

The problem with us is not the lack of quality, it's the mentality imo.

Jloo I was talking about challenging for the title, people debate if United will finish in the top 3 every season and they get proved wrong. And I predicted Liverpool to get top 5, that pretty much backfired on me too

Yeah Guardiola will come in at Chelsea some point next season imo. There is no smoke without fire, plenty of rumours about him being interested in the chelsea post.

Di Matteo will be gone by Christmas I think.

You're known on this site for making stupid comments, need I direct you to Batmanu's article when you ran your mouth off last season about Liverpool finishing above Arsenal? I'd like to bookmark this comment of yours now and come back with it next season just to prove you wrong. And this is a thread about who's going to be in the top 4, why is a Liverpool fan here?

The problem with us is mentality, injuries to key players, weaker squad than the manchester team and poor tactics in some games.

People are underestimating the importance of Drogba's departure imo.

jloo1978 Man United only lost the title on goal difference last season and City only won it due to Man United slipped up at the end.

Verm you did well reminding me there, I bet it was Drogba's voice being heard in that dressing room last season in the CL final rather than RDM. That will affect things now he's gone.

I think that we'll finish in the top four. I'm going to sit on the fence here.

I think I might be being a bit harsh by writing off chelsea completely, there starting XI will probably be as good as there is in the league, but I just can't see them challenging. I'm happy that they won the CL because of what it meant for spurs ( ) but you just have to admit they were incredibly lucky.

Will they get so much luck next season? Remains to be seen.

For the big games, yes, Drogba is going to be a huge loss, but not against the lesser teams. However, we all love to say it when a big player goes, but in all fairness, it doesn't matter who leaves, the club remains. Arsenal have lost so many players, but you're always up there due to Arsene.

Should be back to getting our 6 points from Chelsea now, without our tormentor.

I think Chelsea will win the league next season.

Chelsea have the best defence in the league imo.

posted on 15/7/12

No coincidence whatsoever that we got 4 points off chelsea last season with Drogba not starting either game.

Really Kam? What about City?

Ivanovic-Terry-Luiz-Cole

Yeah that is a great defence.

posted on 15/7/12

City's defence isn't that great, they get a lot of protection from midfield.

Clichy is unreliable, Lescott is decent/average, so is Zabaleta.

Kompany is the only 'class' defender in the City side.

posted on 15/7/12

City have no depth in their defence, when Kompany is out Lescott is exposed so much with Kolo or Savic by him.
