I think it should be called Derry officially, with LondonDerry as its secondary name. Basically the way it is now with the roles reversed, if that makes sense. That way it wont cause anywhere near as much problems. At least then the minority in the waterside area wont be offended. Anyone else outside of Derry should just accept whatever the people of Derry want.

i know what you mean, however thats just reversing the name of the city and roles will be reversed. It will still be an issue and will cause problems.

The problem is someone will always be offended if its Londonderry or Derry - my solution would be something neutral - Foyle would be good me - but maybe both sides could work on a new name?

Anyone else outside of Derry should just accept whatever the people of Derry want

Failback, im not miserable at all. You will never find a more laid back bloke than me. I dont take anything seriously. You on the other hand have alot of Jim allister bitterness inside that needs to be let free.

think it could be the best way - would be refreshing as well i think - may even help the city in bid for city of European awards etc.
