Why am I a disgrace? I have religious that I doubt people here agree with but I don't preach and judge.

You lot are welcome to your opinions but looking down on othe people is just pathetic.

Fred you stated the 'preaching' by saying how dare those with a different view to you express it. You didn't need to make that comment but you did so don't try and come across as all holier than thou yourself!

Because judgemental people are so commonplace on this board and it makes it such an unpleasant place to be. Criticism of Kenny is a complete no no and there are a list of approved media sources we are allowed to read.

Sick of it.

Thank you neon - that's precisely what I'm getting at. The Sun newspaper is a disgrace - not those that choose to read it even though I wouldn't read it myself.

Neon - if you read back you'll see my first comment was to ask the op why he read the rag. A question that's all not a statement, a question. Fred jumped straight in with 'how dare you' - yet you want to take me to task. How does that work?

Being a Liverpool fan is about being part of one big family and supporting each other. That rag called 96 innocent people (some women and children) thugs and hooligans and labeled the survivors who try'd to save them (with no help) theives, saying they robbed the dead.

People have the right to watch and read what they like but people all so have the right to tell others exactly what they think of those decisions!

I wind you up because I read the sun? Forgive me I was at work during my lunch break and picked up a paper. I was naturally drawn to the section to do with Liverpool. Beside I only used it in this article as a means of bringing up a point not as a basis for what I was saying. If it makes you feel any better I don't buy newspapers and only take proper notice of the BBC.

You know what - I'm out.

This board is a dictatorship these days. Fans on here put me off the club at times.

We're all entitled to our opinions. My personal opinion is that a newspaper that wrongly labelled thousands of people guilty of murder and manslaughter shouldn't even exist.

Fred - you are one of the most judgmental on here as evidenced by what you've said on this thread. Several of us asked the op why he was reading the rag and you said how dare we. Check yourself before passing judgment on others.

The paper is vile. How it is still running is beyond me.

I don't understand why any Liverpool fan would read it but of course that is up to him/her. I know somebody who calls himself a Liverpool fan and he reads it everyday.

Neon - actually it's the second time I've done it in a week. The op agologised for his link to the rag, changed it to another link and on my request, deleted my comment so it didn't look to everyone else coming on the thread that he'd done something that other fans woud also find offensive.

What I didn't bargain for todaywas Fred with his 'self righteous' comment 'how dare you'.

KLS and Reincarnated comments above put it in a nutshell.

If you buy the Sun you are an idiot.

If you buy the Sun and are a Liverpool fan you are an even bigger idiot.

If you read the Sun now and again, or the odd page, then I don't see anything wrong with that, there can be all sorts of reasons to read a newspaper. I glance at it in the local Chinese when I am waiting for my food to be ready as they always have a copy on the side, but would never dream of buying the thing. Same thing in the hairdressers.

We don't know the context of this poster reading the Sun, so to go mental at him for it is a bit unfair.

I hate the Daily Mail, but my mum used to buy it and I read it from time to time. Sometimes you just need something to pass the time, and reading something hideous can be cathartic as it reminds you how bad it is and why you hate it in the first place.

I'm sorry I mentioned the Sun/rag. I wanted this thread to discuss Suso's ability and if he is ready as I missed the two last games. I also wanted it to discuss whether not including players like Suso in the first team now is a mistake.

I didn't expect this to happen. Wish I hadn't asked now. I don't read the sun/rag anymore than I read other papers. While I'm at work I try and check the sports sections of all the papers and that story stood out. Had I known it's mentioning would cause such an uproar I wouldn't have bothered with it's inclusion.

Know what you mean Righteous. I mean I never voluntarily look at it, but occasionally I find myself looking at a headline as I browse the newspapers. I then see that the headline belongs to the Sun and feel disgusted with myself - but these things happen. The campaign says Don't Buy The Sun, which is as much about hurting them financially than the moral aspect of it. Just so long as you don't purchase a copy, it's not too bad.

Here's something for you Fred, how is what we have said a "dictatorship"? I'm not going to send 5 men round to pull matijc's fingernails out if he doesn't agree with me, I'm simply telling him that his decicion to read that thing (in my opinion) is the worst thing any Liverpool fan can do.

You then come on and label anyone with that opinion a dictator? Some times on here you come across as a very intelligent lad but other times you don't half come across as an absolute tìt and that's my OPINION!

I didn't 'go mental' at the OP - if you want to use that phrase then I'd say I 'went mental' on Fred.

matt - I don't have a problem with you. I have a problem with that rag being referenced on the Liverpool board. It's happened loads of times that people have put links or references up without realising it and on questioned about it have removed it, if only for the sake of those who are - and I admit it - overly sensitive to it.

But I'm not going to let a 'how dare you' dig go unchallenged.

Sorry to all on here if I've offended you.

Reincarnated and righteous

That's your opinion, I'm of a different opinion. One which I've been brought up on, the paper that was always in our house was the star. My dad got it everyday for the bōōbs and sport and one day my mam brought the sun by mistake (same colour headline) he went berserk, picking it up with some BBQ tongs and putting it in the outside bin and threw the tongs out!
