If you read my post s early on I never wanted Rangers to go into the 3rd division, as I knew it would cost scottish football big time. not only that the only attraction in our game like it or not is the old firm, now take that away it devalues the product, which I am sure we will see this year.

But as for the duel contracts if found guilty, which the way Rangers are acting tells me there is something in this, then yes you should be stripped of titles, because the simple reason you would have not had those players at the club and who knows were you would have finished in the leagues. Now please don't and try and tell me if the shoe was on the other foot Rangers and there fans would be crying blue murder

most celtic fans on here, a few excluded, already have Rangers hung, drawn and quartered over the EBT/ Dual contract scenario. i think this gets a lot of peoples backs up

if the SFA/ SPL haven't concluded their the EBT or Dual contract investigation and delivered their findings on either prior to the transfer of membership then tough...they should be time barred.

to expect rangers to accept unknown punishments to be handed down at an unknown stage is ridiculous, especially as we are considered a "new" club

Hoop....at this point in time Rangers have in liquidation due to Whyte's mis management. If by cheating you mean not pay tax etc during his regime , then I agree. But you have to remember the players and other employees paid their tax etc Whyte decided to keep it rather than pass it on so it was them who were cheated !

If EBTs are a reason to strip titles then why weren't arsenal stripped of titles when they used them.

The EBTS aren't cheating. The EBTS aren't the issue.

We may however get titles stripped for using EBTs as dual contracts as this is against SPL rules. But the fact we may have paid players with money we couldn't afford can neither be proven. Nor is it the reason we will have titles stripped.

I have posted my feeling on the duel contacts, and don't expect you would agree with me.

But like I said good win yesterday, roll on the cups and I am sure we will be drawn against each other as you can't beat a old firm day

Partick....maybe I missed it but has anyone ever seen one of these |"dual contracts". Surely all money paid and received would have been listed in the accounts which are submitted to SFA.... so how would these "dual contracts" have been described

posted on 30/7/12

Apparently the money WAS in the accounts. I don't know whether it was attributed to each player though.

Listen, it's not the amounts involved, but the operation itself and individual office holders who facilitated the scheme.

We are talking about one club, just one club, frequently registering players differently from every other member club. To avoid payments due.

One example. Adamzcuk from Dundee. Celtic were in for him. RFC offer him 40 per cent more. He signs for RFC, hardly plays for them. But denies another club his services.

But the fact is, the 40 per cent extra RFC could pay was offset by a scheme that avoided paying tax.

Hector is saying it was not legal. If it was not legal, well, it was cheating. For sporting advantage.

posted on 30/7/12

I can see this running for ages if the payments have been in the accounts. If the club had paid them out of he accounts then it would be pretty damimg but having declared them puts a different slant on the whole thing.

and i'm sure these wild accusations have foundation??

Timmy repeating the 'Souness story' they heard in the bOozers.

Ask them how that is cheating and all you get is that glaikit look that they have when they are attempting to work something out.

Oh ... Btw ... Did I ask why Dhimms are still infesting our board?

As I said TRFC, when the FTT is published, we will all be able to pore over the details.

But that is a wee vignette of how the system offered a sporting advantage.

Let's just wait and see. I understand why you are defensive on the issue, but I am sure all will be revealed one way or another.

"Cmon guys we all know there was cheating ffs."

Here in lies the problem Jinky, people like Hoops have already made their mind up that Rangers have cheated, without even a light being cracked on the decision.

Rangers have been dealt with as if we were already found guilty.

Sporting Integrity, that is a laugh.

Guilty untill proven innocent eh Hoops? Integrity?

posted on 30/7/12

The problem is Tim- you can't prove we couldnt have afforded them without using EBTs.

Tim....in other word its all conjecture on your part... as ever.

'Hector is saying it was not legal'

Is he?

The 'Souness story' was in the Daly doc. It has never been denied.

Curly, hector says it was illegal because it went against the spirit of the mechanism. Unless the players have paid back the loans? Get on the phone to wee Nacho and ask him when he is paying the cash back.

But we shall all just have to wait and see.
