No he admitted to the spanish word negro which is entirely different to the english word negro. he was convicted on the english translation of the word and on a fictional number of times that didnt even correlate with the frequency that evra claimed.
Oh course, little englanders think that foreigners have a duty to learn these nuances whereas they just shout louder and slower when going abroad.

Unless you have ever lived in a Hispanic country and understand the language there is very little point in this debate. The whole meaning of the words for black and negro are held in a different regard.

Fair enough... But as FJM said before...why are we always talking about Suarez when Terrys verbal assault had no such excuses but he walks away scot free? We need to take a look in this country about inequality in justice for those that don't hail from this country. A fair deal for all is what I would like to see.

What, I think, gets us is the over the top reactions, and faux moral outrage. There have been plenty of examples of other players doing similar things. Defoe biting Mascherano is a perfect example. Where are the people calling Defoe out as disgusting etc?
