So Suarez made it up that the word he called Evra was Negro then. That is what he confirmed he called him
No he admitted to the spanish word negro which is entirely different to the english word negro. he was convicted on the english translation of the word and on a fictional number of times that didnt even correlate with the frequency that evra claimed.
Oh course, little englanders think that foreigners have a duty to learn these nuances whereas they just shout louder and slower when going abroad.
Its all to stamp out racism though.
Imagine if suarez had called rio a choc ice on twitter. what do you think the reaction would be to that?
Terry's had dogs abuse since the Bridge issue so don't kid yourself he's immune. It's got knack all to do with colour race or creed - football fans give abuse to players they consider to be belters & Suarez is one if them - the end
Every Liverpool fan would come on here and claim choc ice means friend in Uruguay and it was a simple mistake

I see you cant answer the question because you know as well as i do that he would get crucified from every angle. Rio on the other hand.......

you're right...suarez is a belter player
What mentality do you adopt Fatty and when in Rome and all that,we are English/British so what is wrong to adopting the attitude of the country of our birth
------------
I'm very proudly British, but there are some things about our country that are not good which I don't adopt even if in Rome.
Liverpool....always the victim
And even being innocent not appeal to CAS over his unfair punishment....I wonder why
Unless you have ever lived in a Hispanic country and understand the language there is very little point in this debate. The whole meaning of the words for black and negro are held in a different regard.
To compare that to what we feel in English terms is utterly futile.
John Terry was lucky to have his case held in a court of law. Guilt in such matters should be proved beyond reasonable doubt.
Luis was tried by a kangaroo court and has in my opinion been less offensive than JT. Can any non Liverpool fans odds that one?
comment by lucas leiva really is that good! (U9282)
I'm a little Englander and had no idea that something you can buy for 8 for a pound at tesco's and is packaged as Choc ices would be more racist than calling a black man negro to his face whilst pinching his skin
Liverpool....always the victim
I see you are adopting your "sister club" mantra there. That seems to be their shight little saying

Sadly for Suarez he said it in England, ignorance is not an excuse for racism ask Fatjan he will tell you he has suffered racial abuse for years
I'm not thin skinned, far from it. I'm not politically correct either. I really, in all honesty give a toss. But in my own view, for what its worth, Rio's tacit acceptance or acquiescence of the choc etc expression is racist. If something is racist for one, it is racist for all, no matter what your origin is. jimmyTheRed
Why do we have to hear Everton fans' opinions on everything?
The value added to my life is nothing - so why do they bother?
Surely there is something they can talk about!
Surely!

Maybe because he is not a little Englander he didn't understand the context people were using...it wasn't racist Phil

I am explaining that ignorance is no excuse for racism and you telling me about the abuse you have been on the end off in the past I was trying to get your views.
Surely most people that have racially abusive to you are ignorant so and so's and that is no excuse.
I myself abhore racism in all its forms
Fred, Fred, you are rising to the bait. You are above that, friend. jimmyTheRed

Fair enough... But as FJM said before...why are we always talking about Suarez when Terrys verbal assault had no such excuses but he walks away scot free? We need to take a look in this country about inequality in justice for those that don't hail from this country. A fair deal for all is what I would like to see.

We live in a country where if you feel you were not treated fairly you can appeal.....
What happened in the Suarez appeal fellas?
This again!
Look none of us are saying Suarez is without any faults. We know he's done wrong in his career.
What, I think, gets us is the over the top reactions, and faux moral outrage. There have been plenty of examples of other players doing similar things. Defoe biting Mascherano is a perfect example. Where are the people calling Defoe out as disgusting etc?
We all love a pantomime villain. It used to be Ronaldo. Now it's Suarez.
All us Liverpool fans can do is ride it out. They'll get bored and move on to someone else eventually.

Absolute proof that you are a moron, not that we need more proof.
Being called a choc ice, bounty or coconut is offensive and it is racial. Its the same as being called an Uncle Tom. Go read the Invisible Man, educate yourself.
