Suarez Booing.

Siempre, in my opinion, Rio agreeing with choc ice comment and laughing at it is much worse than what Suarez said. But barely a thing happens to Rio.

You may not like Suarez as a footballer, but there is absolutely no doubt that he was made a scapegoat. Fans of other club are picking on him.

There are many detestable footballers. Looks at your own team and you have Rooney.. Look at John Terry, born and raised in this conntry ansuing a black man. Both horrible people and they got nowhere near the abuse Suarez has recieved. So don't give us that it's just about him being a detestable persons, there are loads of those in football, but they don't get the abuse Suarez does. It xenophobia for all to see but you get away with it.

Suarez was detested by most opposing fans before the Evra affair. So all this pony about being found guilty by the FA has caused his unpopularity means nothing other than he has confirmed what a loathsome human being he is.

Siempre, this is a smallish message board

they're not booing because of what we're bantering about

People are booing because they turned up at the olympics, hear other people boo and ask why.

And the answer they get is "because he's a racist"

And that's the answer they'll always get.

The longer you drag it on , the more people will boo him. Its totally irrelevant whether he is innocent or not. And it is to do with more than just that one incident anyway.

-----
Dont be silly Siempre, you know as well as I do he will always be booed no matter what. As I have said before you know as well as I do what the expression means in Spanish terms. Also compared to Terrys case it's a joke. It's suits the British public to villify Suarez, but Terry is a little to close to home.

Why? Because he dives? No other footballer has ever done that have they? Because he handballed? No that's the first time that's happened too. And no other player in the history of football has ever kicked out, elbowed, spat at another footballer. Suarez started it all. The biting was bad but any worse than karate kicking a fan, any worde than maliciously trying to break legs, elbowing players, kicking them. No, not really.

Thing is fatty if he did one or two of those things he'd be hated, but he's got the royal flush,he's done the whole lot and yet you liverpool fans think he's picked on cos he's a johnny foreigner.Wrong he's despised by most other fans because he's a horrible excuse for a human being

No because he consistently yaps, snarls, intimidates officials and will do anything to gain an advantage, by fair means or foul. This is constant, from first minute to last. If you don't see that these are the traits that really gall opposition fans then I don't know. I really don't. The hand ball was just typical of what I would expect. Trying to referee the game after a foul that never took place.

>>because he's a horrible excuse for a human being

he works with kids, campaigns against racism, is extremely well liked by the people who know him and is basically a national hero.

I get the impression you don't like him much but you're a little OTT

you have a collective blind spot where he is concerned and its very much to your club's deficit

Drama queen.

So our player gets booed, so what? Doesn't seem to affect him much in a Liverpool shirt!

Siempre, you naughty person you are at it again. Opposition fans don't detest Luis, they are envious that they haven't got him in their team, silly! And its only right and proper that you, as a Manc, deflect people's attention towards Luis, and away from events at OT and beyond, where the window-fitters and, it seems the CEO and manager, yes, SAF himself, according to the Press, are in line to line their pockets with gold while the teensy-weensy £427M debt remains outstanding, together with the £41M annual debt financing deal continues. Now, friend, here's your chance. Tell me where I've got it all wrong. Yours, ever. JimmyTheRed

Epic fail there then.Next thing you'll be telling us he's an ambassador for FIFA fair play

I take your point, but this is hardly a first for Premiership football.

This is exactly the hypocrisy we're talking about. Of course no other players do these things. We've never seen Rooney, for example, run up to the ref claiming he should have had a free kick/penalty/throw in?

what you write seems to be at odds with what has been written. Liverpool fans know Luis's faults but we won't accept the disgusting treatment that has been meated out when thugs like JT walk off no worse off.

posted on 1/8/12

no phil, he was an active campaigner against racism prior to the day Evra 'accidentally' misinterpreted what he said.

it's not an epic fail then.

He's a part black guy who abhors racism. this little fact that gets deliberately ignored over and over and over and over so you can play your banter game is still a fact despite your protests otherwise.

Red man, we don't see it constantly for 90 minutes every week do we? And to be fair, Rooney isn't exactly loved. He gets lots of abuse at all away grounds. United fans aren't writing articles wondering why he's disliked. It's pretty obvious as to why!

Suarez does get fouled every 5 minutes though in fairness.

Mainly down to the way he plays.

What and Rooney hasn't done all of these? No diving, kicking, elbowing? He's never been petulant, he's never sworn into camera. Never been sent off for violent conduct? So why the vilification of one man but not the other? Becaue he's an ex Everton player by any chance?

Away from football, Suarez is a family man, does charity work. Away from football, Rooney has slept with hookers, cheated on his wife.

Who's really the worst human being?

The hypocrisy is incredible.

posted on 1/8/12

Rooney does charity work and signs autographs outside of football. Suarez hasn't cheated on his wife to our knowledge but it doesn't make him any less of a .
