Champions win when not playing well, Barca have been playing well and winning so won't be champions. The top players score when not playing well. Messi has scored and played well so isn't a top player.

i do feel messi has become a more arrogant person of late though

I observed. Going to do one about why the champions league should only be for champions and how this season's CL would be so much better if it was cos we wouldn't have rubbish like Montpellier, Cluj, Dortmund etc and Man Utd would win it cos we wouldn't play youngsters etc v Montpellier etc who don't even deserve to be there. When the champions of a league finish 3rd in their group (Man City probably lol) that league clearly doesn't deserve to have a CL spot, more etcs. Some graphs etc.

i think the blue and white stripped flag with the star in the corner is the "RCD Espanyol" version of la senyera

that started mayhem as

a. espanyol as the name suggests historically thinks of itself as a "spanish" club first

b. catalans who are NOT separatist, but who feel v spanish (and catalan) quite often support Espanyol

c. Catalans of civil war nationalist supporting families quite often support Espanyol

d. spaniards born in barcelona of immigrant parentage from other regions of spain v often support espanyol..


a catalan independence styled espanol flag, is imo quite strange, as the club historically has stood against Farza in that regard. You've probably noticed plenty of spanish flags being waved by espanyol fans in matches
