Dr are you a hardcore Biri?
The incidents against Roteña (bear in mind it was a pre-season friendly against an amateur side with absolutely nothing at stake) weren't a one-off. I think it was the previous year they'd done the same against another Andalusian or Extremaduran outfit, can't remember which exactly.
Traditionally, Betis have been the better supported of the city's sides in rural Andalusia and Extremadura, which are the main catchment areas of fans from outside Sevilla. I think Del Nido's been trying to change that to expand Sevilla's supporter base, and these actions by the Biris only served to alienate people seen as potential Sevilla supporters.
Incidentally, the Biris are Spain's oldest 'ultra' group.
You are older than thyme itself.
But younger than Rosemary.
.....something about cumin.
Surely Del Nido is in the right there Dr F?
i knew betis were better supported outside of seville..
but in the city itself which is the better supported club
Dot: no, I'm just too handsome. Like you. Come with me.
Edin: Right decision? I don't know, Biris are seen as the heartbeat of the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, but I'm against violence. The last few home games without them have turned the stadium into a cemetary imo.
The "safety" measures he placed in Gol Norte was too extreme imo, one disaster and he would have had blood in his hands.
... but then again, Del Nido does have a tendency to divert attention from shady areas of his own life. The man should be in jail. Simple.
And I found this picture. http://tinyurl.com/bvpqt3w
It's kind of funny, I like 3 teams in Spain: Sevilla, Depor and Rayo. All of their ultras are left wing, anti-fascist and anti-racist.

Salomon Rondon scored twice in Rubin's 3-0 win over Inter.
In the space of 4 years, Rondón's career has taken him from Venezuela to the Canary Islands to mainland Spain to Central Russia.
At this rate he'll end up playing for FC North Pole before the 2014 World Cup.
Do you rate Rondon as a player ioag?
I think he's alright.
Only got to see him occasionally at Malaga, but by all accounts he was making great progress there and was tipped to go onto big things. Rubin was a strange move, but he's only 23.
