Exactly what I thought while watching the game when Toure (?) had that chance that Lopez saved with his foot - our players just backed off from midfield right up to the edge of the box. On the other hand, one thing I found encouraging last night was the 3 different scorers and 3 different assisters for our goals.

Nevertheless, I'd be surprised if Bayern don't win it this year. It's in their own hands imo.

Pep's going to have a hard task if they do the BL/CL double, as he'll no doubt want to get the side playing 'his' way and it'll probably take a bit of time. Wonder if the BM board will be patient enough.

mou seems obsessed with playing counter attack in these sorts of matches...he sets up so madrid draw the opposition on to them..sometimes resulting in some overly deep defending

i'd like him to play ozil/modric/alonso together in midield alot more, and control matches with possession a bit

remember in last years semis against bayern, madrid lost the 2-0 advantage they had in the 2nd leg because of their obsessive counter attacking set up, and inability to control midfield..that was why modric was supposedly bought, to help with this

I defo think bayern are favourites to win it..and from what i've seen this year in the CL, both bayern and dortmund are more than a match for madrid and barca
