Gonna be interesting to watch Barça without Messi.
I think they'll be fine as whoever replaces him is guaranteed to score goals - my grandma could score 20 a season in La Liga if she had Xavi and Iniesta servicing her from behind. But then again Barcelona are a one-man team and without the option of playing 5 yard assists to Messi who then dribbles 3 players and scores, they will struggle.
@BumperGraham: This isn't perjorative, only analytical. But in Liga you get used to seeing football intelligent players. Esp top 4 clubs. Alexis ain't
I find Graham Hunter extremely arrogant for some irrational reason, I can't stand the way he talks.
The timing of that comment too......
renoog - I was on the flight back from Barca to Glasgow with him after the Copa semi second leg v Real in february. He came across as hungover.
....Alexis scores

That was a riveting tale, please tell me more
He (Uppy) went to Barcelona to see his brother roll down the stands of the Camp Nou.
Xavi rested too by the way. Only Iniesta left to supply the goals. They're lucky Dani Alves became world class this week.
Ok
On the way there we met Kevin Bridges (Is he allowed on english tv?) and we had beer with him, then we went to the match and i spent a lot of the time shít scared at Ronaldo and Di Maria sprinting towards me faster than i've ever seen anything move in my life.
Next day my brother fell over when we went back to the Nou Camp. He tripped down some steps, facked his ankle ligaments, fainted a few times and was laid out in Barca's trophy room between Messi's Ballons D'Or and Barca's CL trophies.....he drew a bigger crowd than both of them
In the airport on the way home we saw Graham Hunter with some pretty cool shades on.....turned out he was really rough after a night of drinking with Mr Bridges. They were chatting about the Madrid derby final and Graham was being all dramatic about which venue they will use for it. To be honest he came across as a perfectly nice bald man.
Incidentally, does anyone know where the Copa final is?
I hope they have it at the cathedral for sentimental reasons.
Yeah i remember G Munter saying it would most likely be there. Seems unfair, no?
Was that all true Uppy? If so I take back my previous comment, that really was a riveting tale
It is all true indeed!
What a goal from Cesc!
They're lucky Dani Alves became world class this week.

Indeed, now that he's discovered some end product I envisage him setting up loads of goals for Messi and co. You heard it here (ITV) first.
Puyol, Alba, Xavi, Busquets, Villa, Pedro and Messi are holding Barca back
4! Cesc to Alexis.
How funny would it be if they were forced to play without Messi and put 7 past PSG?
Then he never played a game for Barca again and moved to Blyth Spartans just for a laugh
