IOAG - I felt ok this morning albeit after about 11 hours' sleep.

Planned to do some work this afternoon, opened my work emails and there is just an avalanche of emails from people asking me to submit internal CVs for various projects....email after email asking where they are, when are they going to get them......then at the end an angry email from my boss to them telling them to leave me alone.

Stress levels through the roof. Supposed to move flats next monday but letting company haven't sorted the lease out yet......may as well just give up.

Moving is a bit$, though i live somewhat of an itinerant lifestyle, i had to move a few months ago and it was the bane of my life!

It took me TWO whole months of frantically searching, speaking to agents, going for viewings etc to find a decent home. Not to mention the enormous strain it out on my relationship with my lady.

When i found my current abode, i actually bought my present landlord a bottle of champagne to thank the man.

This move has been fairly straightforward. Went to see the flat, told them we wanted it. Got an initial deposit down. Got my references to them within 10 minutes of them requesting it......just my fackin flatmate's work have taken 3 forking weeks to return their reference. Supposed to move in on monday but haven't actually got move in date yet. I will potentially be homeless if it doesn't get sorted sharpish.

Moving stuff shouldn't be too hard. All i have is clothes and musical instruments and a TV

Anyhow, good luck on your move! The entire process enervated me.

I'm not moving any time soon, just going away for a month's holiday.

Worst thing about moving has to be the stuff you lose.

I bought one of those iPhone 5 adapters that gives you the iPhone4 port output. Tiny little thing about 5x7 cm cost me 20 pounds and a bloody well lost it

Fúck me sideways. Some stupid bird has taken over the handling of my moving flats and she's now saying i can't move in til the 9th of July, when we had agreed with a man, who was competent. that we could move in next week in order to avoid me being HOMELESS.

So when does your newington lease end? This week?

or you could put your stuff into storage, and book into a hotel for a while

My lease ends next monday. The nice current tenants of my new flat offered to move out early so i wasn't homeless and are doing so over the weekend, and i had agreed with the competent man over the phone that we could move in on monday/tuesday but this stupid bird has obviously just looked at the property listing and seen that it was supposed to be available from the 9th July.

Maybe you could leave everything packed and sorted at a mate's house and take off for a week.

In terms of holidays - I'm booking a holiday to Switzerland for August this week, so i'm not wasting my holidays on a scottish trip

Plus i don't really have anywhere to leave my stuff.
