wow what penos by spain
espana !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sainty !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Finally we get to see Brazil v Spain.
i agree
a completely knackered spain
vaaaaaaamos espana, barca wins again
navas scored the winning pen
cite.h wins again
it was a good 0-0 draw i thought
similar pattern to the spain-portugal semi last year
What an exhausting match.
13 perfect penalties and one Bonucci.
Spain are mental if they start with Torres on sunday.
i agree !
Torres must not start
I love Italy so much, Pirlo's pen was by far the coolest.
The team that beat Uruguay, why change it?
Funny, contrary to the majority opinion, I didn't think Torres was that awful. Was involved in some good link-up play, created a fabulous chance all on his own and generally worked his socks off for the team. Sldado might have been better suited for yesterday's game, maybe even Cesc, but apparently both were carrying minor injuries.
Why is Villa not starting matches or even getting a chance as a sub?
To be honest with you Dan, I think it's mainly Barça's fault.
Well I know he is not getting the minutes, but Torres isn't exactly the main cf in Chelsea as well.
With Cesc being injured I would have thought Villa would come on for Torres and not Martinez.
Why does Silva get into the team ahead of Mata?

I wasn't think about the minutes so much, but about the position. Villa was always an out-and-out no.9, but he just doesn't get played there any more and I think that might be why he, DB or both have lost the faith.
Wump, Silva's had a pretty poor season on his own standards, but I can only imagine DB sees things in training or sees certainly qualities in him that he doesn't in Mata. I also think he lends a thought to keeping what he views as core players involved even when they might not be at their best for their clubs.
That is a terrible reason IOAG. For quite a long time, I haven't seen what Silva brings to the team. He was great in the first two games in the Euros but he has been rather mediocre ever since.
It might sound like a terrible reason, but if there's one thing you can't dispute Del Bosque is that he's known how to manage a team in which 24 players could stake a fair enough claim to be starting.
On a non-football related note, in case there are any MotoGP fans here:
Jorge Lorenzo broke his collarbone in a fall during the opening practice sessions in Assen yesterday.
He was flown back to Barcelona for surgery, and has flown straight back to Assen to see if the doctors will clear him to start last on the grid for tomorrow's race!
Jorge is nuts
IOAG - I don't think Torres was that bad.....i just think Spain have optimised themselves to play at their best with a false 9..Torres can't do that.
What, pretend not to be a striker? I disagree.
