Bob - if you can (it's hard to find) check out King Jammy Meets Dry and Heavy in the Jaws of the Tiger, you will love it Dry and Heavy are Japanese dubsters, awesome album

To lovers of music of every kind (my favourite actually is Puccini)

Can't believe the set The Cure played at Reading, wtf was that about?

I'm going to lay myself open a bit here and say that the best band I've seen in the last ten years, and in my opinion the best touring band in the world right now, are Coldplay. I have never seen U2 mind (who many people have told me are better) but by all accounts Bono's voice has gone now

Also would have preferred to see them on the Rattle and Hum tour personally - bit of blues and real rock

Also saw Lou Reed - legend.

Richrad Ashcroft also pi$$ses on Oasis (sorry JPB )

check on her website and she has 'em out...they wouldn't even move if you were pumping her

im sure you know a lot more about music than me kimchi, but i reckon anti oasis views are mainly musical snobbery tbh.

Thank ferk for that, I employ six and I was already wondering whose the psycho, pervert, chicken worrier etc..

cheers kimchi

in my mind the cure's set should be half of the disintegration album and add to that close to me and boys don't cry...

Lou Reed is great....you like Television (the band)?

JPB you are right, I am not keen on Oasis and that's because I'm a right pretentious when it comes to music, I once bought a limited edition promo called MN CD by Aphex Twin and it was three tracks of what sounded like someone rubbing balloons together...i was humbled

the christian slater character works in a record shop.

jpb yeah seen it, it's good, the late tony scott directed and tarantino screenplayed, oui? It had arquette in it, not the fit one, rosanna the other one

rosanna arquette

what's the flim where she strips on a table ? amazing body.

i thought patricia was alright though. great film that.

posted on 26/8/12

rosanna was the fit one, patricia is the one that you would but would always be thinking of rosanna i mean

posted on 26/8/12

i don't know the film where rosanna strips on a table but t sounds brilliant. She's in no way out with van damme as a woman with literally no personality but she has a shower within ten minutes...pretty good, prettttttyyyyyyyy prettttttttyyyy, pretty good (curb reference)

posted on 26/8/12

if you type her name and the word strip into google it's the first result. cant remember what film it's in though.

Messiah - did you stick with BB or give up in the end mate ?

I'm a musical snob for not rating Oasis as anything other than 'middling' due to having seen over a thousand live acts, and honestly believing they come somewhere in the middle?

I suggest it's a question of musical tasta kimchi. whilst im sure i havent heard as many bands as you, of the ones i have heard ive liked oasis best, and im fairly confident that i always will do.

Fair enough mate but to dismiss someone else's taste as simply musical 'snobbery' is pretty rude.

I'll leave it there. 1 for you for suggesting a good thread to have a chat and then being an obnoxious

eh ? you serious kimchi ?

posted on 26/8/12
