"Jla I was right on that. If we got new owners and they want a new ground you will see."

Right?

You offered absolutely nothing to suport your position, while I and others showed that there is a long-term commitment to pay rent.

Amazing...

Cups only mean nothing when we win, Lurker.

Of course Tall, how silly of us to ever think otherwise

So nice comfortable win and neither Pearce or Austin went off injured - everyone happy - eh?

Are we just a cup team now? Hoping to get big teams...

We see what the cup means if we got a rubbish draw away to Watford or some where like that and we have a extra game we don't need, with a very thin team, Or if we draw a top end team and pick up injurys or they put some much into the game it messes up the league.

Sounds like an excellent job done, great that there was some squad rotation and hopefully no knocks.

Watford were knocked out by Bfd City, a bit of research helps to add credence to a post

meme - being serious for a moment, that is all very hypothetical. Now here's another hypothetical scenario for you.....

What if we win in the next round, then the round after that, then the next 2 rounds too....will it still mean nothing to you, or will you be getting your ticket to the final?

posted on 28/8/12

Jla you showed nothing to show it. Just numbers. And you could not answer my questions.

Am right but if I was wrong I would hold hands up.

But like I say we see If we end up with new ground any time soon.

I mean look at the championship teams that have gone out tonight

Bolton, forest, lester, Hull, Blackburn, Just to name 5

That's one less game they have to play, less traveling, no injurys.

Will help them in the championship.

Highland - that would be a particularly rubbish draw then wouldn't it.

Not sure how getting beat at Elland Rd by Oxford Utd could ever improve our league form

posted on 28/8/12

Though at least it would be a local non-match for Jonty

Maksi, it appears there are some people who think getting beat improves team spirit and morale.
Personally i could do without cup games but if we have to play them, it's better to go out against a better team, preferably from the prem

Well we will see if you say that If we got bradford away and Ross played and got injured and out for 1-2 months

posted on 28/8/12

All hypothetical meme...and did you notice Ross didn't play tonight so why would he against Bradford?

As I initially said, I honestly don't think you have the ability to connect the dots when shown different pieces of proof, which you were. I speculated that nothing short of the contract would be sufficient for you. You were given links to articles about the sale-leaseback transaction, citations in the club's financial statements and other data.

You offered nothing to suport your assertion that the rental obligation was only 1 year out.

Feel free to go back to that thread and answer questions put to you and to challenge answers you were given.

Otherwise, just throw your hands up and say "I cannot respond."

Dearie, dearie me...
