Modric is world class, yes. In terms of controlling a game, not many players are better.

Dubbed People overrate Silva too much. I think there isnt much between him, Cazorla and Mata.

I don't think Modric is world class and never have done.

Saint how is Cazorla world class? I'd group him at a similar level to Mata?

Dubbed - so is Cazorla world class or not?

Simple Don. Mata is also world class.

for me world class can only be used to describe a player that would get into virtually every national team in the world, if they qualified for it.

messi, world class, no question. ronaldo, likewise.

some others are more questionable, like RVP, aguero, tevez.

some, like rooney, and just not world class. would he get into the spanish team? or the brazilian? argentina, germany, holland?

he gets in the england team, sure. but that makes him "international class" in my mind, which is a pretty big step down from world class. but it depends on your personal definition, i guess.

Cazorla is world class. Mata and Silva are that too.

World class for me is what the player is capable of with the ball at his feet.

If that is the case then Hazard is world class (he isn't)

If Suarez was consistent he'd be world class imo

Suarez is borderline world class. Not far off.

Rooney is not World Class. And it's not the 'anti United' in me saying that.

It's the Unbiased England fan that sees that IMO Rooney is not living up to the expectation.

Most Utd fans at one point seemed to think Rooney would eclipse Ronaldo; and at one point it looked very possible. But that seems a long time ago now!

The world class players are the ones who have an 85+ rating on FIFA 12. The rest are meh.

"World Class" is a completely subjective term. It all depends on one's definition of the term.

It isn't just City and Utd who have World-class players. Both us and Chelsea do. Sagna, Cech, etc.

I think world class works like 'form is temporary, class is permament' if you know what I mean. Against Inter in CL, Bale was world class those nights, but overall he's not world class, he's just a good player. Most world class players now might not be world class in the future, due to declining with age etc

Silva is comfortably better than Mata IMO and a little better than Cazorla.

I'd say the PL's world class players are: Y. Toure, Aguero, Silva, Tevez, Vidic, Nani, Rooney, RVP, Sagna.

I also believe Modric is world-class and my personal definition is any player I'd consider if I was making one 22 man squad.

Players who would grace any team in the world are world class.

Mata and Silva fit that category, Cazorla is questionable but he was great today. 3 games does not a world class player make.

How can people tell me Cech is still world class? He's declined a bit since his injury, he was woeful in AVB's reign and he hasn't been great this season either. Same with Reina, who's declined even more than Cech.

Reina

Casillas, Buffon are the worlds best. Neuer?

posted on 2/9/12

Buffon is the best keeper in the world, followed by Iker. Buffon's been the best for years now

International football its dreadful! And Rooney would get into most sides but for me just a very good player not top bracket as his touch isn't good enough.
