Ange has just put a team out to get us knocked out in the 2nd round. It's inexcusable really.

This club are eternal losers. Profit before glory. 1 trophy in 24 years

Too many fans making excuses for the real problem at the club.

Absolute joke of a football club.

My worry about all this is that Ange is just another Levy lapdog. What's that? You only want top four? Yes, sir. Three bags full sir.

Feck off!!!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Nothing to do with Levy tonight. Ange made all the feckkups.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't agree with that. Ange would have been told in no uncertain terms what his remit is, what the priorities are. It wasn't this.

Ange takes some of the blame. Resting Vicario, Madders, Bissouma, Son etc and not reacting on the bench quick enough but the reason he didn't is largely down to his bosses saying THIS IS NOT A PRIORITY. Don't be naive Sandy. There's a reason every Spurs manager has done exactly the same thing year after year. It's Levy.

Sanchez missed the penalty, but manager cost Spurs the tie. Clueless.

I don't want to hear any more of this Angeball nonsense.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh give it a rest, you levy loving tool. Nobody wants to hear any more of your opinions you sad old lecherous little nonce. Do everyone a favour take a few to many or maybe too less of those pills you're probably on you decrepit flake of bell cheese.

Forster shocking for the pens, as expected

God knows why Sanchez took one, most predictable outcome of all time

Every premier league club makes changes for this competition…

We made 9.., it’s called using the squad… you can’t play the same 11 in every match… The Burnley match is far more important!

It’s a good indicator that we still need to seriously strengthen,in this transfer window…

Hopefully this will have been Sanchez’s last game… as he is a major fall guy

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Why is the Burnley match
More important?

Levy is the reason why dross like Sanchez is still at the club costing us results
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly and we've just had 4 games into this new season, including this cup game which we lost, without a new CB and another forward/striker.

Sorry this one is as much on Levy as it is Ange. Every time we go into a season we leave ourselves short in an area. It's unacceptable.

Well the 1st XI is pretty well set in stone now until the New Year. Injuries aside.

Skipp, Davies, Lo Celso, PEH, Forster, Sanchez, Solomon may as well take a three month break.

Pathetic and predictable.

In Ange we trust? Not me sunshine.

100%

Tonight is no surprise when your owners prioritize the balance sheet over silverware.

The only surprise is that some fans think it will ever change

Meh

Bit annoying but soon forgotten with 3 points on Saturday.

Fraser getting done exactly the same way for 4 of the 5 pens was comical, and Sanchez being on pen duties also was.

As we know, and has been the case for ages, the drop off between the first team and the squad is waaaay too big

I said he will be a yes man when he was appointed, he is certainly towing the Levy line with that team selection

Ange picked the side. He didn't have to change nine players. He fecked up. He needs to own it. He was slow to bring on subs as well.

To blame Ange tonight is to refuse the opportunity to turn the screw even further on Levy. It's exactly what Levy wants. If we blame the manager that's music to his ears. He'll just fire him and bring in the next mug. We need to wake up and realise what's really going on. One League Cup in their 22 year tenure is precisely because of decisions like tonight. It's no coincidence. It's by design.

Ange has to take the blame for team selection but the way he has got us playing (before today) he is in credit and lets hope he learns from this and next season takes this competition seriously.

Ange and Levy to blame. It's a joint effort. But of course you never blame Levy for anything so no point arguing with you.

Starting Forster was criminal really. He’s not some backup you need to keep happy by giving minutes to. He’s rubbish and probably just happy to sit on the bench

Or we just realise that progressing is largely irrelevant as city will steam roller all in front of them to get the trophy again.
