Eze not at Maddison's level. Maddison has been the outstanding attacking mid in England so far.

Hes been going under the radar so well because of Bissouma and Maddison, but he's so comfortable and composed, I legit don't get worried when he gets the ball

When Bentacur returns, I would legit be gutted for him if he lost his spot

Sarr has done fine but Bentacur is a better player so I cant wait for him to return

No agreed but he's the best option out there realistically. Only ones on his level are Odegaard and Silva

Udogie. 20 years old. Played in his first NLD, gets booked early on, and then sails through the rest of the game without putting a foot wrong. What an unbelievable talent. Gonna be having to fight off Europe's biggest clubs to keep him in the future.
Got to also mention VDV who also doesn't put a foot wrong. This team is going places.

Different qualities than madders and maybe a level below him but Eze is so good in 1 on 1 duals.

Could even play alongside madders

Although a bit-part player, losing Perišić is such a blow. He was ideal as a late sub. No obvious equivalent in the squad.

I'd be alright with Eze if we needed another type like Maddison. He would cost a lot though and wouldn't be as good as Madders but maybe Ange could get more out of him.

I'll just be gutted for sarr and his development

Agreed but thats football for you. I wanted him played more last season as I consider him streets ahead of Skipp or PEH but its a tough business with little room for sentiment.

Unless you think about Southgate still picking Henderson of course
