Everyone seems to think spurs were off it. They weren’t. It’s just that we couldn’t get the ball off the opposition. Sometimes you just have to applaud your opponent. We’re early on in our journey. Trust the process.

Still got top 4 to play for and technically still in the title race. Only for the league to focus on now so need to make every game count.

Yeah I don’t think we were bad. Thought some of our quick passing and tight space play was excellent (apart from PEH’s feck ups) but it was the final third where we were hesitant and indecisive. Our defence is really good and I think on another day with Biss, Sarr and Son around and Madison match fit we could win that - we aren’t as far away as you might think.

Not enough quality in the final third… why didn’t we actually cross the ball… it’s what Richarlison was waiting for!!

We badly missed Son… need to replace Kane, with some top quality…

Even Porro's passing was off today

He had some good moments but is not mobile enough for Ange ball and made 2 horrendous errors that should have led to goals. He is a passenger in an Ange team and needs upgrading upon

If we are honest we are light years behind city… in terms of everything. Players they buy and sell, young players coming in an actually playing. Our whole club focus needs addressing if we are to get success on the pitch. What that is I don’t know,it different views from everyone…….

Although it does help enormously if you are like city, Chelsea and win the lottery and are as corrupt as feck and get away with it.

Should have just risked starting Maddison or at least played him for longer. Our last chance to win a trophy and Maddison if playing well increases our chances of winning that game. Our forward line is so noticeably bereft of creativity and threat without Son and Maddison.

I'm with Billy on this. Doesn't matter if you're generally okay if you're capable of gifting goals to the opposition. As much as we need players with high ceilings we need to root out those with that kind of floor

And he was only playing because the two players ahead of him are away. You’re not gonna get a better option than him at no4 in the pecking order. I thought he had a better game than Bentancur today but he gassed at the end and got sloppy.

They did but we didn't do enough going forward. Our set pieces were rubbish and counter attacking barely got anywhere.

I’m gobsmacked at some of the comments tonight. We got a bad draw against the best team in the world. We’re a few months into a new era and fans are grumbling that we’re out of the cups. I get it. It’s disappointing but come on. It happens. Going out of the cups believing in the process is far more palatable than it ever was under Jose and Conte. Onwards and upwards. We go again next week.
