It was a poor performance we bottled going toe to toe with City by playing a false 9. However it was interesting to watch tactically.

Very interesting the trip to Bramall Lane.

Chelsea will win both games.

Were we watching the same game? That’s as good as I’ve seen us in a long while. On another day we win that. It most definitely wasn’t poor by any stretch. We controlled most of that game and got done by that bit of extra quality.

Class is consistency, one thing that cannot be thrown at Son. Goes missing more times than not. He is 31, he is not going to get any better. Now we get maximum value and we are not losing much, judging by his performance this season.

Why am I angry?

Top clubs know when to move players on. Pep is fantastic at it, Fergus was too. We hold on to players for to long and then can't shift them.

If we hold on to him, in a year (maybe two) we have an inconsistent wide player who has lost his pace and probably still our passive Captain.

Brave decisions are needed.

Thinking about it, we're lucky to have him. Now you can keep a player like that knowing you can get massive money from Saudi even at age 33, 34. Especially a shirt-seller like him. The Saudi factor is new. Levy will love that.

Can't learn much from today. It was a strange game. City as we know often struggle here and it looked like being the same story.

Any learning about whether we have started turning a corner or not will be done next season.

I think the lack of quality up top is telling.. the difference in these big games. You can tell by some of Ange's selections he knows the same. I don't think Johnson will ever be clinical.. he's a nice lad it seems, but Raphina would be an upgrade. Likewise Toney up top, much more quality than Richy, more composed. Still think a new RB is necessary, keep porro but he's so bad defensively.

Moore is different he is only contracted until 18 and rumour has it City are sniffing around hence why he is being included way ahead of schedule. Shocked he played though. Remember the hype is almost Rooney like around him.

I know about the new contracts i was speaking to someones parents the other day. I know very little these days, but do try to see the youth games. Hence why im so passionate about using them.

No, I like it. It means he’s not satisfied and wants to see real change. He’s got high standards and he expects the same from everyone. I’m not surprised he hated the fans stance today. It’s everything it hates but it’s an emotionally difficult one for us. He won’t hate Arsenal as much as we do.

He is right though. We don’t want our season defined by making sure another team loses. The only way of doing that though is to win games. That’s how he changes the mentality. Winning breeds winners. Losing 5 out of 6 isn’t the way to do it. He needs to understand that. It’s not the fans fault. The reason why so many fans were supporting City today was because results have meant we haven’t had much to play for. That’s on him. Fully behind him but he has to take some responsibility.

The hype for Rooney was way more. Only Spurs fans know about Moore right now. He has defo had a growth spurt over the last year. He was never this tall.
