Love it when fans get sensitive about the tinest bit of criticism aimed in their direction.

Just shows how right he is about the mentality of some you. There are fragile fans amoungst us who can call him a fat khunt or this or that but when he gives the smallest blow back, they get all defensive and look to other avenues to beat him with. He is 100% right.

Total neutral … Enjoyed the game tonight with so much on the line, albeit it panned out as I thought before KO (having said it would be interesting until City scored, then it wouldn’t). Spurs certainly had good chances, but just couldn’t see you scoring. City looked strangely nervy at times, but Spurs biggest problems were often self-inflicted … some absolutely suicidal playing out from the back, pretty much throughout (Hojberg often at the heart of that). Not saying anything you don’t already know, but you don’t have enough of the right players to play the way Ange wants … for now anyway.

I agree. I’ve said all along I wanted us to win but I can understand others point of view. If we’re focusing on making sure Arsenal don’t win the league it’s because ultimately we haven’t done enough on the pitch to make our own success the focus. That’s on the players and Ange, not the fans.

Nearly but not quite. I'm saying that the culture that Levy has instilled has led to years of failure. It's a small difference but important. Basically, we can't succeed because there's inherent failings and weaknesses in why people are doing what they're doing.

He’s been the cancer of the footballing side for years. He should stay well out of it and do what he does best. We already know this.
Things won’t change until ENIC is bought out. I personally would want Levy to remain on and help to r infrastructure because he does that well.

Unless he lives up to the promise. We didn't invest crucially in the player side in the past because we were building the Stadium that would put us financially on the next level. Well the Stadium has been built now. A huge cash cow. Now he needs to deliver.

Ie: focusing on revenues and dividends before trophies. Giving out the lowest contracts possible rather than incentivizing success. Cheaping out on a player here and there that means you have to buy two or three down the line

You were saying that losing has meant we've got a losing culture (so it's indirectly the manager's fault) while I was saying the culture leads to losing. So it almost doesn't matter who the manager is unless that changes.

Yeah but it was something else u were coming at me for before we got into this back n forth lol.

What i was saying is our RECENT defeats has meant the fans (me includes) would be p!ssed off at us turning up today, but couldn’t turn up in the other games. Eg had we beaten arsenal then it wouldn’t have mattered the result today: we still would have had a chance of top 4 and city still would have been in the driving seat had we won tonight

Then separately, our lack of success over a sustained period (ok because of levys culture or whatever) has again meant fans wanted to lose today.

So there are both short term (ange) and long term (levy/culture/0 trophies) factors.

Yep people hated Conte for saying it but he was clearly spot on and now Ange is finding out. Personally I blame Levy for the culture at the club. There's only so much coaches can do

If it was the other way round, arsenal would want to lose. We’ve literally seen it when we both were in european finals, and that was them having a chance of a trophy but they still preferred us both losing than both winning.

Nothing to do with culture of the club 😂. Actually, let me correct that. If we had a winning culture and regularly won trophies then arsenal winning the league might not sting as much as it would now. So therefore, the culture is due to us being unsuccessful, including losing 4 in a row
