I'm firmly Ange out but think he did a solid job all things considered today.

Solanke's all round play is very impressive. Glad we signed him.

Just needs to improve his touch and linkup. Does let him down.

Every player gave it everything today and every fan in the ground could see it.

No booing at full time and rightly so

We ended the game with:
Austin
Porro Spence Gray Reguillon

Going into the summer we would have assumed that 3 of those players won’t play a single minute this season + another is a promising kid in the championship

Like your optimism. Will kill for that scoreline right now. Even against Tamworth!

My feeling is we wait until the first choice 11 returns then if performances don’t improve, particularly defensively, we fire Ange. Really no point in doing it now anyway. Nothing to rescue.

He brought Bergvall off when he was put best player. Started Werner. Played Kulu CM. He didn't have a great day, again. But then again when does he. Yea, he's fighting with injuries but he HAS to find a way to win games now. No excuses. Find a way.

But the ref and VAR are at fault today mainly. Disgraceful decision.

Their first goal should been handball

What if we don't get those players back this season and we go down. Do we just put relegation down to injuries, or do we find a way to get points. Because the way this is going we are in trouble big time

10 games lost by early January is shocking. We haven't lost that many until late March in any of our previous seasons since Ramos was sacked. I think it's unlikely we will get any Europe this season unless we win the Europa.

Ipswich win their game in hand they are 6 points behind us. I agree we won't go down but we are soon to be in the conversation.

One positive is that at least Ange hasn't lost the dressing room. They put in a shift today. If we start putting in performances where it looks like the dressing room has been lost then we can maybe worry about being in a relegation battle.

Spurs like United will not be dragged into a relegation battle

We are absolutely in the conversation for relegation and rightly so look at the amount lost. Look at who we have dropped points to Wolves (at home), Leicester, Ipswich (at home). Crystal Palace.

Leicester Wolves and Southampton have lost more. Ipswich equal us. That is the bottom four.

Everything suggests we will be amongst that.

We cannot beat the smallest teams in the league. our competition beat us brighton, newcastle x2 and we are not going away to Arsenal, chelsea or liverpool and getting a result.

Excuses today but with this manager we are staring relegation in the face.

I’d agree with that. Now that the PL is a lost cause, all I’m looking for is better performances and we got that today. Give him the rest of season and see what we do in the cups.

I'm firmly Ange out but today wasn't a game that highlights that.

But he has to find a way to get points now. We can't say we played well and lost if we go down. We babe to find a way, he has to find a way.

I still think he isn't the right man for us but I agree with above comment, the players are still with him.

We shouldn't have to wait too long before players come back. VDV and Romero are forecast for the end of this month. I give Ange one last chance with a more fit team at which point form needs to start improving and by that I mean better than it was before the injuries - less losses, more consistency of wins. Sign of progress or he goes.

I still like the look of Iraola though and if we were to consider appointing him at any point I'd have no complaints. We see how well Howe is doing right now with Newcastle and Iraola is someone who is doing better with Bournemouth than Howe ever did in the PL, and he lost a big player in Solanke.

If you get the time have a listen to Simon Jordans podcast with Eddie Howe. After listening he is a big no from me.

Comes across as likeable but quite week Howe would not join a club without his full backroom team does not feel he is as effective without them. About the England job basically said he does not want the pressure of that.

To me came across as uninspiring, unambitious and a not a strong front man.
