I would like to see a pacy striker who can stretch the opposing teams defence giving more space for eriksen and lamela.

Doesnt have to start games but gives us an option we dont currently have.

I don't find defoe particularly quick.

he was when younger, but if he is any quicker than say adebayor its definitely not by much.

no i agree with that, defoe comment was a joke but I do think we need a quick striker just to give us another option, who though I dont know.

Were it me with the cheque book I'd go for Nastasic, JRod and Welbeck (who is getting a rough time on here). We can't expect to compete for the big players on wages, transfer fees and CL football; especially with the new stadium to finance.

Need a bit of realism.

Having said that, I'd love it if we signed Bony

To be fair, JRod and Welbeck can both dribble and both score goals (maybe 20 between them a season). Lennon and Townsend ain’t gonna do that.
