I would take an injured Rodriguez over Townsend.

Seems like stale news. Wonder whether in reality we're offering cash plus loan ... I'm not convinced Levy will want to sell an English player whose stock was so high a year ago for peanuts. I suspect he'd rather loan him and see whether he rediscovers some form.

Can a player 'rediscover' something he's yet to discover? I'm not so sure.

This is pathetic. Every year I do this to myself. Scald those excited by Deadline Day, then spend all day looking at BBC News at work ... Hypocrite.

Poch clearly wants Rodriguez. Levy should do his best to give him what he wants.

I suspect that - if we're in for JRod - he's closer to his ACL comeback than we're lead to believe

QPR have apparently made a bid for Sandro according to SSN.

Daily Mail believe Sandro is having a medical at QPR ahead of completing a 10M move

Sorry but why does levy do this all the time. We never and I mean never get the deals we want at the last day bar VDV and we never learn either. It's always desperate last minute bids that are never successful and we are left with the scraps at the end. United who have been shocking for 2 seasons now and have no CL still manage to pull of these signings. Yes I know they are still a very big club but surely levy and CO should show statement of intent atleast once by pulling off a real top class signing?

I don't think we have really backed Poch tbh, yes we have bought in players which maybe Poch wanted but I don't think its enough.

MS was the one he wanted and we should of got him straight away.

Don, do you mean the deals you want or the deals Poch wants?

you are just being totally silly again. whats wrong with you?

last year you were bleating on about how amazing the transfer window was and we had a rubbish season. just relax, and trust that Poch and Levy are doing what is in the best interest for the club, on and off the pitch.

faack sake.

So Schneiderlin is to be Pochettinos' Moutinho ??
The one we didn't sign, who will be the reason the team plays so bad that the manager will be sacked around Dec 2015.

--------

you do know that deals involve more than one party.

a club actually has to sell a player for us to buy him.....

stop guessing. for all you know Poch had MS on the target list but wanted time to evaluate the squad, some of whom were late returning because of the world cup...... meanwhile Southampton sold lots of players and started playing hardball with MS, similar to Levy with modric and Chelsea.

do our fans always have to be so simple minded? we act like a multi million transfer is a simple thing and we should just be buying whoever the manager wants all the time.

unless you are real Madrid, that simply doesn't happen.

If Sandro is going, sell him to an overseas club.
