Go easy on Savage, it can't be easy looking like an ugly tart, speaking shat, and being Welsh.

I really still really fancy Spurs over the two legs provided they can keep it down to one goal. WHL under lights with a full strength Spurs will be a different kettle of fish for Dortmund.

Assuming we play full strength you mean

Only 2 outta those 3 relevant
We havent created nearly enough to give me hope of us scoring in the 2nd half.

What a nightmare half.
Why was it a nightmare, it was to be expected against what was basically Spurs second string, you didn`t seriously think they were going to take Dortmund to the cleaners did you. I personally would have gone full strength, but Poch seems to know what he is doing.
Sub off Carroll and Onomah for Dembele and Lamela, we need to get more of a foot in this game or we will lose another goal or two.
We need to try and get an away goal, we have created next to nothing so far. I think Dortmund will score at WHL so an away goal is vital.
Lamela's work rate would be useful here. Needs to come on, along with Dembele and Kane.
I find it amusing that Poch picks virtually a reserve side, and some of our supporters are surprised they have not been in the game much.
Dortmund will score at WHL so that would mean we need 3, IF we can keep it to 1 tonight. Joke selection
Sandy
if this is poch's gameplan to get completely overran and create absolutely nothing. It's not that we are surprised, its just depressing to watch.
Feel sorry for them away fans... Cost a fortune to go and then see our best players not playing
The pundits and commentators have virtually given up on Spurs.
I Just don't understand why Poch has played such an under strength side. yes i understand the premier league is very important but whats going to happen next season if we are in the champs league?
I feel sorry for the spurs fans who have paid a load of money to travel to Germany to hopefully see a titan clash.
Regarding the game, we have defended very well apart from the goal but of course our full backs aren't pushing forward to support the attackers who have had nothing to feed off.
Its been a resolute tigerish performance but an away goal is so important.
If we don't make one or two changes soon then i fear we will lose this 2 or 3 nil and the tie will be pretty much over.

i agree, when we play in the champions league next season were gonna need to be playing our starting 11 every game. I hope he knows this.

Especially having seen the way we can play this season
Dortmund look a useful outfit against Spurs seconds, I would have liked to see Spurs` first XI against them to see how we go

You will do next Thursday but the tie may well be lost then
Carroll has impressed little in his appearances for us so far. Onomah hasn't impressed at all.

I expected nothing else as soon as I saw the side, Spurs never get a result home or away, let alone at a place like Dortmund, with their squaddies, so am pretty relaxed about it all.
I have been watching football for too long, that unless you play your absolute full strength against any half decent side, let alone the best sides, then you aint going to be winning.
I really don't buy into this strong squad rubbish. Take 1 or 2 of our core players out and against technical teams we struggle. Good technical teams can play past the pressing if not done properly.
Unfortunately team a bit lightweight tonight.
