It's been a good season for Kane but given the standards I expect from him, it could be better, considering he has been available almost all season. Should be closer to 30 goals in all honesty.

So will we score more goals 2nd half? or will Villa get back in the game?

I'm sticking with my 4-0 prediction

COYS!!

Defoe is still a world class finisher. Glad he's finally at a club where he starts most weeks

Right no messing up second half, no silly subs Poch handing the the initiative back to Villa like last week.

Definitely reminds me of a young Sheringham. Everyone remembered him for his decision making and positioning. Although these traits came in his late to mid twenties.

much quicker and more physical than sheringham though

Defoe is a good striker, but not a great one. I don't think he ever managed more than 20 goals in a season.

Kane can be relied upon much more. He leads the line better than Adebayor and scores more goals than Defoe. He is not perfect - no striker is - and he can be a bit too greedy at times, but I find it hard to criticise him too much given how many times he does it when the pressure is on. A top, top player and still only 22. He has the ability, fitness and temperament to be as good as Shearer if he continues his progress.

Doesnt matter how old he is. This is just stating the obvious on where he can umprove.

He could end up being 28 and doing the same like Defoe does if noone tells him otherwise.

Even if he scores 25 goals the team would benefit more if he added assists to his game.

Kane has had a few chances to lay the ball into more dangerous areas but has gone for goal instead. Striker instinct but we should be 4 or so up. Lamela was on his own and gagging for the ball but Harry clumped it straight at Guzan. I blame that bloody mask, it must block peripheral vision. Great free kick by Deli, his footy brain works twice as fast as everyone else's!

Exactly Chronic. So explain the negativity. We are winning you know.

Defoe is a long way from being a world class striker, he used to miss loads at Spurs as well. Greaves was a world class striker.

Maybe if we had more of a goalscorer on the pitch after Kane, he would get more assists? He is definitely capable of providing as well.
