Played terrible IMO

Sissoko was a complete waste of a player.

Unless the ball played into Janssen feet he can't do anything. Makes terrible runs constantly

I've given my opinion on Janssen but apparently it's bad to suggest anything other than it's early days and he's young.

I know he might have ability but he has been poor in my view. The hold up play is just a part of the game which most players can do anyway.

Always having your back to goal. Not making the correct runs. Not getting into those goal poacher positions. A striker needs to be doing more than what he is.

I don't see anything special here at the moment. Which I don't understand because he scored a great goal for Holland.

Should be sitting top right now if it was not for Foster. Made about 8 saves today and always plays well against us.. worst possible player for us to get injured as well in Toby.

May have won if son had started...we have Bournemouth next 😎

Well might help if others put some crosses into him or he got more passes into him in and around the box

Its not all Janssens fault when we play the style that we did. A hold up players holds the ball and looks for little one twos on the edge of the box. Unfortunately we never really got any midfield players forwards and when we did there was no space on the edge of the box.

Most away games the opposition wont leave 10 men behind the ball and his style will be ok then if we support him from midfield

Nobody is NOT giving Janssen a chance...

It's just the way he's playing it's difficult to see a goal. Playing with your back towards the goal with the (lack of) movement and pace that he has to spin off a defender isn't going to work.

And he isn't getting in the areas where the ball might land for a tap in or any other position for a quality shot.
