Nobody is NOT giving Janssen a chance...

It's just the way he's playing it's difficult to see a goal. Playing with your back towards the goal with the (lack of) movement and pace that he has to spin off a defender isn't going to work.

And he isn't getting in the areas where the ball might land for a tap in or any other position for a quality shot.

It's all a bit Soldadoish at the moment. Same not getting in the positions to score. Same inability to gobble up chances when they do come. Same things getting said.

Exactly, except now the arguments for not saying anything against Janssen are because he is young and it's only a few games in.

Sure I understand but I'm not thinking about what player he might be in 10 months time let alone 2 or 3 years. It's about scoring now and there are plenty of players he's age who score goals.

There's nothing wrong with pointing out what he's currently lacking. His hold up play isn't enough to impress me because we could have Bendtner up top and tell him to hold it up for a sidewards pass.

I had my reservations when he missed a sitter last season for his old club.

It was always a risk though buying not just outside of the PL but from the Dutch league. If he flopped you wouldn't be surprised based on the track record of Dutch players coming to the PL from Eredivisie.

Good Evening All

Our 3rd game in this years CL is almost upon us, Bayer have been a bit hit and miss so far this season, however, they did get a good result against Dortmund recently and their star forward Hernandez, has scored 7 goals in his last 9 CL games so our defenders will have to be at their best.

I think it will be a close game with both teams deploying pressing tactics, i think it might be a draw or we may sneak it by the odd goal.

Think its a good tactic, it ensures we have cover at the back but also gives us the chance to go forward in numbers.

Yea I like it for the 'smaller' teams but hopefully when Dembele fully fit he's comes back in
