But he scored a few goals and had a few assists rather than just run all day and for that matter our midfield looked a hell of a lot better with Dier and Dembele together than it does now

Lol hes a DM about passes. Hes made numerous vital tackles all season and even scored the winner v palace. Goal > "great passes"

I had predicted this result anyway so hasn't come as a surprise.

We severely lack depth.

In a properly fully fit lineup our only bench players of quality are: Vorm, Dier, Davies (doesn't fit our team), Winks (but hardly proven), Onomah (same again) and whoever misses out out of Son/Lamela/Eriksen/Alli

I actually think Wanyama recirculates the ball rather well, he is also very good in possession when pressed, rarely loses it and often drives forward which Dier doesn't.

That being said, in the final third he isn't particularly great at picking out a pass, unlike Dier who is excellent if given time on the ball.
